I would give zero stars if I could. Pathetic customer service. We ordered a Thanksgiving dinner online. It let us put the order through, gave us a total and we even got the email. Then, some rude employee calls us to tell us they're sold out and just hangs up. Nothing, no explanation or next steps! Absolutely shameful. This place will never get my business again and everyone else should avoid at all costs.

Why are some cashiers so grumpy!!!! This morning there was one cashier running the self checkout and like the other day when I was shopping there's no greeting, no smile and not even a response from these cashiers when I wish them a good day upon leaving. Don't like the job, then find a new one!!!! Bet they put on a fake act during their interview. C'mon man, your the face of the company.

Big fan of this chain grocery. However, the produce department seems to be going down. I use to look forward in knowing that what was put looked fresh and in stock. Maybe the lack of workers cause this change but not impress. I by pass at least 5 grocery stores because I enjoy the HT brand and the variety they have to offer.

The place I go when I want to loose some weight. This is my go to place when I want to shred some pounds. They have all the fruits and veggies I need to successfully meal prep. I'm pretty sure all other supermarkets have the same thing, but it is something about Harris Teeter that just does it for me. I love the large produce section they have. It's absolutely fabulous. It's full of hard to find veggies and fruits. I also love their bread and cheese section. In comparison to Wegmans, this place has a similar set up with bread and cheese. It looks like the bread is made fresh and daily, so you will always get the freshest bread. The also have a fresh meats section where you can get cuts of different meats to your liking .his is cool, because you don't have to get a bunch of meat, which could sit in your freezer for months. Also pre covid they had a hot and cold food bar where you can get some hot or cold food. The frozen food section is to die for. It's probably one of the biggest I ever seen and it has everything you can want in a fridge. Prices are not to bad. Overall this is a place I will continue to shop at.

This is my go to store for shopping for my job. I'm in the military and always have 2-4 carts full of groceries for my work. The ladies always check me out super fast and are super patient with me. The store isn't ever really busy either which i love. Super easy store to navigate as well.

This is a pretty nice grocery store chain, it kinds of reminds me of Kroger not as big size and items wise. Their stores are always clean well stocked and aisles spacious, they have a fresh bread area, a cheese area both in which carry free samples. The deli area also have a sampling display of fresh cheeses and meats that are really good ( especially when you're a little hungry and want a small snack until you get lunch/dinner ) I can't forget to tell you on Fridays their foot long subs are $5.99 ( which I can personally say are delicious from first hand experience) you can also get points towards gas that you can redeem at Kroger gas stations which is a plus for those who frequent Kroger like myself. I would definitely recommend shopping here, oh before I end this review they also have double coupons days which is great if you take advantage of them!.

Really posh Harris Teeter location in Portsmouth. Excellent produce and wine selection. Lots of parking, clean store and the staff was friendly. If I lived in the area, this would probably be my go-to grocery store. Make sure you shop their online deals for extra bonuses and sign up for the VIC card -- saves you TONS of money. Also, they now do fuel points so you can get some money off of your gas each month for shopping in Harris Teeter stores.
