Suddenly they want to close at 9PM , It’s always been 10PM , every Dollar General location , If they truly want to change it why not start with Updating the Website ?
It’s bad enough That it’s the only store in the area , knowing we have to travel 20 minutes to even get to another store
What if our kids need medicine ? , what if we need essential items ? this is Completely wrong & i think HR needs to get involved … On top of that , you have the workers sitting out in the store parking lot chit chatting , got there at 9:30 & they said they’re closed , The time you have to sit out there smoking drugs, you could be inside working , we pay taxes on that store just for us to not be able to use it at our convenience ? (because you can smell it, and No.. i’m not talking about Cannabis).
Maybe whoever reads this can care less because i’m just another “Complainer” , but As a Resident of Pound, Wise County , it’s very very disrespectful.

Stood at a register for 20 minutes and the sorry ass guys didn't say anything I watched him ring ppl up i walked up with a buggy n unloaded it he walked off got another register and opened it all while I was standing there then Nick Pilkington walked by 3 times then said I had to switch registers and the lady Elizabeth was the sweetest she went ahead and took care of me she deserves a raise. I did applied for a job but after how things I seen how things are done nowonder they can't keep employees no money is worth the way they are treating that sweet woman

Anything you need I can help you find and get you in and out quickly along with short conversation to make it feel homey and family oriented. This is Pound and everyone knows everyone so its also kind of a meet and greet for some people. It's better than it was this time last year. Me and my boss along with our team are doing our best to keep this place clean, friendly, stocked and ready to help you in any way we can.

Always crowded aisles from unstocked products. The workers are nice tho.

This place is unexpectable . For one no one can get down the aisles with a buggy . And for another thing . My mother is legally blind and has to have someone help her around the store . Today the assistant manager refused to change prices when the ring up wrong and also refused to give the receipt. That is so unprofessional and needs to be fixed . Corporate will be called about this matter
