The Powhatan County Public Library is a clean, quiet, and absolutely wonderful place. The building is beautiful on the inside with a great aesthetic and a whole window wall providing sunlight and a scenic view of the woods. It is a great place to do work and study, featuring work tables with super cool built-in outlet and charging ports. The staff members are all super friendly, helpful, non-judgmental, and take great pride in helping their community flourish through many different programs. Outside, there is a great playground for kids of varying ages with lots of open area, safe swings, and slides for different age groups. A Nature Trail is available, and plants are well-labeled. The atmosphere is great overall.
Great library with lots to offer, besides books! Attended a local Powhatan historical presentation! Excellent!

Highly recommend the Saturday morning storytime. Miss Emily is so very patient and does a great job. I love the theme each week and that it combines songs and arts and crafts that coordinate with the story

Best puzzles around! ... and the coffee it great. I read the newpapers daily, drink coffe and do puzzles. The staff are very nice too.👍😃
