Shopping at Powhatan Tractor Supply is always a pleasure. The friendly and welcoming staff make each visit enjoyable, offering assistance promptly and with a positive attitude. Their helpfulness creates a warm atmosphere that keeps me coming back.
In addition to the excellent customer service, the store offers a wide range of products at reasonable prices. Whether I'm looking for supplies for my home, farm, or pets, I can always find great deals without compromising on quality.

Manager at the Rockville location called this location 5x's. Nobody answered. We are currently waiting 9 minutes and 3 seconds for someone to answer the phone and it's still ringing. 10 minutes 4 seconds and counting . . .

Visited this location for the first time today. It's exterior is super cute, we ended up getting 6 guinea keets, 2 in the stock tank were already acting lethargic away from the rest of them so I should of known better but still got 6 others because I've wanted guineas but haven't found any local. Not even an hour after purchase one has already dropped dead. Idk if it's just a supplier issue this year or if tsc is just going through so much live poultry because everyone thinks it's a quick fix to egg issues but this has been the worst year with day old poultry dying. I've hatched over 100 chickens, ducks, and turkey poults this year and haven't lost a single one but every single time I purchase from tsc I lose at least one within 24 hours and that sucks when it hasn't even been an hour since purchase and animals are almost $10 a piece.

The deceptive pitch for a VISA card angered me. The next purchase was pitched but it is a long drawn-out process of 10 at a time. In addition, the due date on the card was before I got the bill. Big charge. No surprise. Cut up card. The cashier could care less. I have been a regular customer but will drive farther and pay more from now on.

I visit this location constantly and the customer service is not the best. On tractor supply's website it says they will price match other Tractor supply locations. Many other times I visited and cashiers honor the price match. Today Tyler was my cashier and said he can't do it. He has given me a hard time in the past and a manager told him to do it since it says online that they do it. It seems that the store should receive training so that they can all be on the same page when it comes to price matches. If they are not going to do it, it should be removed from the website. I now have to drive to a further location that does not give me a difficult time with it.

I find the supplies are hit & miss at this store. The staff means well & tries to help, but there are lots of areas on the shelves empty.

The Powhatan tractor supply is much improved and the staff are quite helpful. My main concern continues to be lack of supplies and I am told that inventory is re-ordered automatically when it becomes low. This really can’t be the case, or your computerized inventory is not working appropriately.When your inventory is low or nonexistent I can almost Always find it at a neighboring store in Goochland or Chesterfield County. I don’t understand why Powhatan doesn’t have the same inventory.My recent concerns involve pine shavings, triple crown senior horsefeed and Purina Enrich horsefeed.

Murdoch’s Ranch and Home Supply stores out west make this place look like a joke. The Employees here need to be helpful. Some customers don’t have time to search an entire section because the employee gave a bad description of where to find a product before swiftly walking away with no intent to truly help the customer. People’s time is valuable. The cashier and another employee I ran into were friendly folks. Store has a decent selection as one would expect from a tractor supply or southern states.
