Jorge at Jim Dandy Auto Service is one of the most helpful and sweetest people we met in Pulaski, VA. My parents were traveling, on their way to AZ, when they had a roller over accident off of 81. Jorge was called to the scene to tow their totaled vehicle and assist with cleanup from the accident. She and the local police did a great job on scene, assisting my mom as best they could during a tragic accident. Once my husband and I made it to Pulaski to assess the situation, Jorge was so incredibly helpful and so kind, answering any question we had since we were out of towers dealing with a tragic accident/situation. Highly recommend Jorge at Jim Dandy for any type of towing services you need. She’s a real gem on this earth and a one of a kind human.Service: Car towing

Has been a while since I was hear they do calibration services back then it cost me 65 bucks i think it has been some years back they can repair almost any hydraulic hose or fitting avalible on the spot in there shop prices vary depending on your repair saves alot of time and has always been cheaper than the tractor places near this area ( example ) had a hay balier line break on the rear hatch door that opens door to eject round bales needed fixed immediately called two places in area both said next day for my line if ordered and paid for in advance before 3 PM time of issue 2:15 more than a hour away from both of these shops took line off went to Jim dandy auto repair shop repair line was repaired in 10 mins or less was around 48 bucks because it was several fittings and was a 1 inch line with dual wall piping but new line was going to be 80 bucks plus change and shipping next day around 120 to get new 6 foot line by 11 am next day 40 bucks shipping overnight all in all I couldn't have gone wrong saved over 50 bucks no shipping charges and repair is still holding strong to this day been about 10 years since hose was repairedVery satisfiedHose customerI have heard towing and storage Bills here are high I couldn't tell you I have never had a tow bill here or storage fee or any mechanical work other than speedometer calibration a few years back but was very satisfied with the jobs in the past and love the ease of having a hose repair shop so close to where we live

Horrible, unprofessional, rude, cold, money hungry. Wish I hadn't have asked for her business. The mechanic there no problem at all but the new owner is just awful, seems to me that after she had a few vehicles in her lot she closed the shop just to rack up more money. She lied and overcharged and was extremely rude. Her dear ol dad would be deeply disappointed in her and his business now!

I needed to be towed when my car broke down on the way to work. I called Jim Dandy and they got the job done for a very reasonable price. The woman I talked to on the phone was very patient with my spotty directions and was accommodating in every way possible. Thanks.

Had my car towed there a week ago after an accident. I've been waiting for them to release my car to my insurance company so I can start the process of getting another car (I'm having a baby any day now I really need a car!) And they will not answer the phone when they call! What kind of business doesn't answer the phone or return calls every day for a week??!

I was at Jim Dandy in June 2016 to have a friend's truck calibrated after he got a speeding ticket. They were super-friendly and professional. The calibration is done by computer during on-road testing at different speeds (i.e., they can't rig the results). It turned out that the Toyota Tundra's speedometer was off by 8 mph to 11 mph, depending on the speed. His speeding ticket was reduced to a non-moving violation for faulty equipment, which means NO points on his driving record and NO increase in insurance rates. Thank you, Jim Dandy!

Don't go to this place. The old man passed away and nobody knows how to run it.
