I don't recommend this shop to anyone. It was the worst service I've ever had in my life. My car was in the shop for a month, and three days later it didn't work, and a week later I had to replace other parts because they didn't see them. What the mechanic told me is that they don't have a crystal ball to guess what's in the car.

Business review - over all I think the guys working in this shop are okay, yes it may have some hiccups with not having certified mechanics in shop, however that does not go to say that these guys don't know what they are doing.... some of the best mechanics I know never stepped foot into college or any type of mechanic program. As long as the work is done correctly and customers are satisfied, there is no problem, right ?
My greater concern for this business is location; this shop is located in downtown Pulaski VA. There is a lot of issues and concerns about Pulaski and the ongoing decline of opportunities for those who live in the area. The poverty and homeless rate is extremely high, many businesses have closed up and there are a ton of abandoned properties in this area. Within reason, if you are paying for high quality services, then I would expect the location of this business to be in a higher quality area. That does not go to say that this business should not be located in Pulaski, I am simply saying it should be located in a better-quality area of Pulaski.

Just off the phone with the co-owner/owner of the company, while a very nice gentleman, He / the Mechanics are not ASE certified. Which okay -might be acceptable for some. He couldn't guarantee safe housing of my convertible on his property while being repaired. I asked about (1) one specific problem (electrical/ battery draw) -During this call he included a 4/5 point inspection of the car.. I did not want nor ask for that -Its been sitting for a yr. (I explained that)I can do oil, lube ($140.00 per hour remember!) And that to which after all the normal questions for wanting to leave my 52k car in his care -he got a lil pissed and told me to go some where else, which I did.
Please beware of cost per hour /certified and INSURED! I don't know about his place because he got angry when I asked those educated consumer questions.

Only people I take my bmws to. They have saved me money, I couldn’t even tell you how many times just by being honest. I would take it here before I would go to a bmw dealership. New river valley is blessed to have them here. Don’t believe me take your car there and see

The shop was closed for a cleaning day today. They didn't have a sign on the front door, so I walked around to the open bay door. I was met by 3 awesome pups and then the owner. I asked if he would do an inspection on a vehicle today, and he was hesitant, but he said that he would. I told him that my plan was to do a flip-flop of my truck and my wife's car today. He told me to bring the truck back later this afternoon. I told him that she worked at James Hardie, and the entire conversation changed... he said, "Bring the truck on in, and we'll just do it now. "
This is customer service. This is a business that had a plan for the day and then gave themselves a curveball. Thank you so very much for helping me out today. You have a customer and a customer who will spread the word.

We left our car there on a Wednesday afternoon for a simple state inspection. The plan was to pick it up Thursday evening. Before we left to pick it up the next day, we called to make sure it was ready. When we got there, the receptionist said Oops that’s our bad, it hasn’t been done yet. It turns out the receptionist was very familiar with my wife, they have a past that ended badly so I’m about 98% sure she is the reason for the terrible service.
