As a conscientious consumer, I approached Another Turn Tack with hopeful anticipation, eager to browse through their saddles and potentially make a purchase. Little did I know that my enthusiasm would be squashed like a bug under the heavy boots of their appalling employee.
From the moment I stepped foot into the store, it was abundantly clear that customer service was an alien concept to the staff. Their lackadaisical demeanor and utter disrespect to customers transformed what could have been a pleasant outing into a regrettable one.
It quickly became apparent that this was not merely a case of lackluster customer service, but a breeding ground for ageism, particularly towards the younger clientele.
As a young shopper, I found myself subjected to a barrage of condescending glances and thinly veiled disdain from the employees. It was as if my youthfulness was perceived as a personal affront to their sensibilities, prompting eye rolls and exasperated sighs at the mere sight of me browsing through their merchandise.
Attempting to engage with the staff proved to be an exercise in frustration, as my inquiries were met with patronizing responses and a palpable reluctance to offer any meaningful assistance. It was abundantly clear that they viewed me not as a valued customer, but as an unwelcome intrusion into their realm of indifference.
In summary, the environment at Another Turn Tack is not only characterized by abysmal customer service but also by a toxic undercurrent of ageism that permeates every interaction. If you happen to fall within the demographic of the young and vibrant, beware – for your presence may be met not with open arms but with a cold shoulder and a disdainful sneer. If I could leave a 0-star review I would.

Consign and buy at Another Turn. They are FABULOUS!!! Huge selection, helpful and friendly staff. Worth the drive no matter where you are in NOVA.

Fantastic local tack shop! All consigned items are in great shape and at a very decent price! Cater mostly towards the English disciplines; hunter/jumper, Eventing, foxhunting, and dressage. Great selection of clothing, tack, and blankets. Anything they don't have in stock they will order in for you!

Best tack shop on the face of the earth. Expert advice on gear - honest and caring business who would turn down a sale rather than sell something that wouldn't be right for an animal or owner. These ladies built this business one good sale at a time over years. I remember Karen when she was in the old Purcellville hotel and the dedication to providing only the very best shows in their stunning success over the chain stores like Dover.

Amazing staff that is always available to answer your questions with a smile, and really listen to what you need/want. Right there assisting with measuring, finding the right boot and/or helmet, and beyond that - great encouragers with your newly found sport! :) Always a pleasure shopping here!
