I came in there determined to find a stain color for stairs that would match our wooden floor without a clue as to how to find a color that would replace the ugly redish hue we ended up with (home project SNAFU). John spent tons of time with me, doing his best to reconstruct the wood type with a sample he had on hand, and then showing me how different stains would turn out on his sample. He was so patient and willing to work with me to find the right color. I was so impressed by his attentiveness!”
