I usually use the drive thru because I have a broken back..The wait is normally not too long as long as I don't go around 5p... I do understand that sometimes a customer may need a little extra time for service..Staff are always polite.

Gave me less than half of the amount of prescription I paid for- 30 doses instead of the 75 it said on the receipt. Very frustrating and disappointing that I must now deal with the extra hassle of getting what I was promised. I expected professionalism, not for them to try to scam me on my first visit- and this was after they took their sweet ass time to get ahold of my prescription to begin with, as if that’s not immensely important to patients or anything.

Great people. Do not develop film here. Walgreens says a week, but they actually take three. This is corporate Walgreens fault. They are liars.
Edit: after three months they lost the film and I am not in their system. Do not use the film development service for Walgreens, they will lose your film

Walgreens of Purcellville is the best customer experience I have ever encountered. I stopped there during a thunderstorm, minutes before closing, desperate to find supplies needed to finish lesson planning. There were two employees who greeted me and then one of them assisted me in finding everything I needed in no time at all. Whatever your needs, try Walgreens for a refreshingly pleasant shopping experience!

Slowest Walgreens in the area. Just do yourself a favor and go out of the way to a different pharmacy it'll take less time than waiting here. 25 mins on hold for a call. Prescriptions are never done same day. Made an appointment for vaccines, showed up 15 mins early waited 45 mins past appointment time.

They greet you with a smile and a hello, finding the items that I'm looking for is easy. Great isle size. Love the quick ring ups. Cashier's are so friendly. In all my visits,I've never seen this store dirty. Easy parking as well.

I have had so many issues getting the same monthly med filled here it’s insane. People saying and confirming it’s ordered, go in three days later it’s not ordered. Constant confusion having to walk through the same processes every single month, amnesiac employees in pharm.
Edit/update : purcellville pharmacy had my order sorted in minutes with zero frustration and zero hand holding. As a healthcare worker I just don’t understand how a group of HCWs can be this inept. The last mistake cost me $300… and that will be the last mistake I make with Walgreens. They really do deserve the negative reviews on here. Not just my primary script I’ve had many issues with preparing meds wrong when compounded with additives for kids, filling improper amounts, ordering obscene amounts of extra and asking me to pay

This review is about the Walgreens Purcellville pharmacy specifically. I've been using them since 2019 and I cannot remember the last time I had a good experience there. I will be transferring subscriptions as soon as the current one is out of refills. I can't continue to give them money for terrible service.
The problems are myriad:
- Prescriptions aren't ready when they say they will be - not even close.
- Doctors who fax or email in prescriptions are told by patients that Walgreen's never received them.
- What I assume is miscommunication between staff at the pharmacy, leading to prescriptions not being filled even after getting confirmation that the prescription would be filled and ready to pick up within 30 minutes, leading to wasted trips to the pharmacy.
- The automated voice function for the pharmacy is a mess and does not recognize when numbers are pressed on the phone keypad.
I assume they are understaffed and this is the reason for the horrible performance. Whether or not this is not the reason, Walgreens management needs to rectify this ASAP.
Please save yourself the trouble and do not use this Pharmacy.

Walgreens understaffs their locations on purpose to save money. I feel bad for the employees. Their automated telephone system is a Kafka-esque swirling vortex of torment. If you ever need to fill your medications at this location, may god have mercy on your soul.

Had some disposable cameras from a honeymoon to develop. Dropped them off, was told it would be about a week and they’d let me know to pick the photos up. Two weeks later and someone rudely told me over the phone she “didn’t have a clue when they’d be ready” and hung up. It’s now been over a month, I now have to move out of state and won’t be getting any of those memories.

Hate this place. They never have anything in stock. Awful.
