Wouldn’t honor promotional price despite me having a Walgreens account. Which, okay, the new coupon system imposed by corporate is straight dumb- nobody else does “coupons” like this- but also the lady at the counter was rude enough to say “oh but it’s too late now that you’re at the register” to look up a coupon from the app. As if there was a line behind me (there wasn’t- it was dead) and as if I couldn’t possibly step away for a minute and set it up and get my $5 off- being completely new to this new “system” of theirs and all. News flash lady, not everyone is an avid Walgreens shopper. First and last time going to this Walgreens. If the manager/owner reads this please just save the apology cuz I’m not interested- maybe instead y’all have a talk to your staff about being a little more human, understanding and facilitative to a decent customer experience.

This Walgreens is horrible!!!!! Lines take forever, filling prescriptions takes days. They didn’t used to be like this. I had scheduled an appointment for my vaccine and that took over an hour just to get checked in. I will be changing pharmacies

I don't have the time to tell you exactly how bad this pharmacy is. Auto refill was done three times only to have to go over it again each time. They say my Dr didn't authorize a refill and the Dr said he most definitely has. And it's blood pressure meds that is a necessity. This happens EVERY TIME... Awfulunbelievable how u

This has got to be the worst Walgreens pharmacy I have ever been to in my entire life. I just moved here from out of state trying to get my prescriptions transferred over from a Publix and Florida. What a joke! First, they didn’t have the prescriptions available but they kept sending me text messages that they were ready to be picked up so I drove all the way there for NOTHING this happened three times! Then they started texting me that they were available to pick up but it was at a completely different Walgreens, which I have no idea where it is because I just moved here! Then I thought they finally got it right and after telling them to delete my insurance out of my chart because I no longer have that insurance. They put all of the prescriptions back because I didn’t have the insurance when I already told them I was going to be self-pay! Omg so frustrating! Last attempt instead of actually going 25 minutes to the store I thought I should just call, glad I did because they “weren’t ready” and whoever it was that I spoke with she talked to me like I was either a three-year-old child or an eighty-year-old woman!! I am DONE with Walgreens after a week and a half of going back-and-forth I just went back to Publix even if I have to drive a half hour longer. absolutely insane!!!!!

Wait times in the drive through are always ridiculous. This last visit was the same as every other visit; upwards of 30 minutes waiting and only two cars ahead. Unfortunately, once you get in the line, you can’t get out; there’s no way to get around the cars ahead of you. After waiting in line for 30 minutes, I am told that my prescription will not be ready until after 4pm the following day.l because they don’t have the medication that I was prescribed.

If you need meds filled quickly, have them sent somewhere else. There are days where they will not pick up the phone or you wait for 20-30 minutes on hold (during normal business hours and not the 30 minute lunch window). The MCV satellite ER sent meds for a back injury (that were much needed) over to them at 9AM... We went over and were told not to stay and wait because it wasn't going to be ready anytime soon. We just called to check on them as we've been waiting in agony all morning... It's 1pm and they still are not filled. We explained to the tech that answered the phone that they are for a back injury and that they were needed hours ago. She said that they might be ready in an hour... If you can't wait hours for meds, I would recommend having them filled somewhere else.

I am visiting this area from out of state. I have been a Walgreens customer in my home state for over 20 years, and the pharmacy in Quinton is the most helpful, efficient, and professional of any that I have used. I had to move two prescriptions to their store. My insurance did not approve a vacation override for one and they volunteered to find a discount card to get an important drug that I could afford. Such great service!

The incompetence at this pharmacy is unbelievable, we tried to get a medication filled and after 63 day’s transferred to food lion up the street and was filled within 4-FOUR —hours , the text message technology is laughable as well as the auto refill save a trip program .. and the staff in the pharmacy.. they just don’t seem knowledgeable with insurance issues , medication availability etc etc

Pharmacy service is consistently bad. It is difficult to call them, they don't fill prescriptions well, and the wait for a cashier is too long.

Plenty of Valentine's cards, candy, gift bags and gifts. Not crowded. Easy checkout. Used reward points for purchase. Store neat, clean. Friendly cashier. Recommend

Pretty casual here lol No issues with my transactions here. The property looks fairly new but could use some updating already. They seemed to be well in stock of most items and are conveniently located if you are in the area.

I've been using this Walgreens since I moved to the New Kent areas, which has been several years now. The store itself is fine, the customer service rep/cashiers are always pleasant. However, my issue is with the pharmacy recently. A few months ago, a lady had locked herself out of the pharmacy and nobody else had the key and she didn't feel the need to let the front/store know, so people were being told the pharmacy was open, only to be turned away. Then today, I went to pick up new medication and the girl who assisted me at the pharmacy did not have a pleasant greeting, which is fine, but I asked about properly disposing of the old medication since it didn't work for my issue and she responded "we don't do that" so I asked "what do I do with them?" and her reply was "find somewhere that does" and then walked away...didn't inquire if I had any questions for the pharmacist for my new medication, didn't say "bye" or anything along those lines. I didn't know my medication was free b/c she didn't advise of it. I am hoping she was just having a bad day, but for someone who is not an expert in the medical field, I was hoping for a little more guidance.

Staff here is exceptional! Clearly management is doing something right because my husband and I have always had great service from both the pharmacy and store at this Walgreens. They're prompt, helpful, and exceptionally friendly. The store is very clean and somehow just always feels cheerful, like a hometown store.
