I had a friend deposit money into my account and the bank blocked my account and put it under review and refused to give me my money bc i said i was going to a different bank now have to wait on a check to come in that can take up to 6 months to get my money back. They were very rude to me also when i had questions

Customer service is less than poor. Went to bank for a home mortgage. Called ahead and was told customer service rep we wished to see would go to lunch between 12:00 and 1:00 - just come in. They left before 11:30. Ignored by bank personnel after arriving although sitting in front of Branch Manager and others. Finally helped by a teller, who told us the ones we needed to see had left for lunch (we had watched them leave as we waited). Went to Wells Fargo and had excellent and friendly service. BB&T is closing branches in our area, and this branch will be the closest to us. With this level of service, and the inconvenience of its location, we are changing banks.

I went in the bank on August the 18th to close my account the representative who told me my account would be closed said I did have a pending charge for the 18th of $70 so what we did was leave the amount that was pending in my account for the 18th and she advised me that the next day which would be the 19th she would leave a note to close my account. Well today is the 25th and I get an email saying my account was overdraft I called BB&T in Radford and I spoke to the person who closed my account she was very rude she hung up on me twice and she said I was in the wrong she tried to convince me that I swiped my card on the 23rd which I did not my account was $36 overdraft I advised her that I went in on the 18th and she is the one who told me my account would be closed she said that I was in the wrong she argued with me she would not let me get a word in I asked to speak to the supervisor she told me she was the supervisor. She said since I had a pending charge on the 23rd my account cannot be closed and therefore it was my fault it was overdraft but to remind you I went in on the 18th to close my account so if my account got closed on the 19th because of that pending charge That was supposed to get tooken out on the 18th I should never have an overdraft for the 23rd because my account was closed but again I the representative that I spoke to was very rude worst customer service ever I do not recommend anyone to bank with BB&T in Radford because if the staff mess up they are just going to blame it on you they don't apologize and I believe she should not have a job there I would like someone to call me back and help me understand why my account was overdraft I was advised by that representative that she would call back to speak with me and she didn't. Worst experience of my entire life
