She was great at showing us the unit and all the amenities. She made it feel like it was home already with visions of what we could do in the unit. Thank you so much!!

They did a great job with figuring out the cause of the problem and were very prompt with ordering the necessary parts/ unit and getting the new dishwasher installed. The only thing that wasn’t ideal, my own fault, is that I didn’t know the washer was being replaced entirely rather than just having new parts put in and I forgot that I had a silicone baking mat in the top most rack of the washing machine that was replaced.

I really enjoy living here and I have had a good experience with the leasing office, but they recently implemented a new AI system and it is awful. It took multiple attempts to get the AI to let me speak to an actual person, because it wasn't giving me useful information about the things I had questions about.
Update: the AI has gotten even worse. It now doesn't even transfer me to a real person. Once I finally get the AI to transfer me, it doesn't actually send me to a person, it just sends me to a mailbox that hasn't been set up yet.

So far my family has enjoyed being at copper beech. Staff is very responsive to any questions or concerns we have. The only thing we don’t like is the over crowded parking, but that comes with any housing that has student rentals as well.

Wish I could leave a 0. This place is a bait and switch. We reserved lease in April of 25. We tried to move in early. However, we got told that the units where being renovated (lie 1). Since they didn’t know what unit we would get they put TBD. We shouldn’t have signed it but we know now. So come move in day. We receive our keys walk into our apartment and it looks nothing like the floor plan on the website. The place smells like mold. There are huge badly plaster jobs. There are huge cracks in every corner. Most of the bedrooms have 5 inch wide cracks that run the length of the ceiling. Within 4 hours I officially notified the leasing agent by email that we didn’t want the unit they agreed to give us a full refund with no penalties. However two days later they said that we owed them rent for the first month.

Nick is awesome and friendly and always willing to help with a smile, but all staff at Copper Beach feels like family.

Lived here for a year with my roommate. They are extremely dishonest about charges when moving out even when you have proof and pictures. They charged over a 1000 dollars in damage and wear and tear that was there previously. When going about fixing this issue they have an “accountant” that is in Texas that you can only email to get figured out. The staff will not help all and above anything they are dishonest. I’m attaching all of the images of this run down apartment the day we moved in a year ago. They see you as a bank rather than a tenant , do what you will with this information so you do not have to go through the same thing ! There are much better and honest apartments in radford . Stay away.

Copper Beech offers a convenient place to live! You are close to so many things that surround area has to offer. The stayed in the garden apartments and our apartment windows faced the sun in the evenings which made it very hot during the hotter months even with air conditioning, but allowed it to be warmer in the colder months. I will say that the apartments can be loud with having neighbors, but you will have that with any apartment complex. So if you’re not happy with hearing neighbors during the day or night, you’ll want to take that into consideration before moving here. Although my wife and I didn’t take part in any of the activities on the property, there was always something the management had schedule for residents to do — pool parties, games and arts and crafts — which would be a good way to get to know your neighbors! The manage staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and eager to assist with any need you might have. They also have a fantastic maintenance crew that responds to request always in a timely manner and are respectful and friendly! As for the negative reviews regarding move out fees, we were not charged any upon move out! The best I can say is to leave the apartment better than the way you found it! It’s not your property, so don’t trash the place and you’ll perfectly fine! My wife and I enjoyed our time at Copper Beech and would recommend them to anyone looking for a nice place to live with friendly staff onsite!

The people at Copper Beech Radford have been nothing short of amazing and welcoming. From the beginning, Kayla in the leasing office was so helpful. Kirby and Jamie followed suit. They were so kind and answered all of my questions. The maintenance men Nick and Jacob even went the extra mile and helped me get my couch into my apartment. Thank you guys so much!

They've made the whole move in experience as painless as possible. I've lived here for a few years now and the office staff are so nice and so helpful whenever I have any questions or need any help. The current maintenance staff are super helpful too and they usually have any issues fixed within a day or two but recently it's been as little as a few hours!

Copper Beech has been an amazing place for me so far. The staff specifically Kayla and the Maintenance team has been helpful through my entire experience here. I definitely recommend looking into a place here if you’re looking to rent.

I'm a new resident here and just moved in. Throughout the entire process so far, the staff (office and maintenance) have been polite and professional. All payments are handled online using a linked bank account, which is extremely convenient and more 21st century than having to go through the hassle of personal checks or money orders. On-site office is nice and convenient. My unit is better so far than the last apartment I had in Salem. There have been just a couple minor issues come up that I trust can be resolved here in the next few days without needing to formally escalate. The location is more convenient for me. I'm 35 and work a 12 hour night shift, so the college town scene isn't for me, but the location allows me to bypass most of the Radford traffic and college. I'm really hoping that things continue to go well. Right now it seems like I'll enjoy living here and return the favor by being a good tenant.

It was a simple move in, check in was between 12-3pm and it went by smoothly. The rentistry is annoying to unsubscribe from, but otherwise it was a good experience documents wise. Everyone is really nice and helpful, it’s also very affordable and well taken care of.
