I have been renting a unit from them for 4 or 5 years now, and I have no complaints. They are always helpful and good at communicating if necessary. I have never had any issues with rodents or anything like that. The area is quiet and feels safe. They did have to raise their rates after Covid, unfortunately, but it's understandable. I travel a lot, and the rate is still reasonable when compared with other places I've looked at.

I went to pick up something that was being donated so I cannot attest to customer service or prices but I can tell you it was very easy to find, it seemed a safe, clean, well kept place, and the little roads in there were gravel, well maintained and packed I went up several steep hills there and I was expecting to sink a bit, and we have had snow AND rain and there was no sinking or big puddles or anything that comes with gravel and water (ya'll with gravel driveways understand right?). This is as far as I can review.

Had an issue with my bill. After a 2 day visit, was able to resolve issue. Both ladies I dealt with were very sweet and accommodating.

I think people should beware. Over the past weekend I drove up (I live out of state) to get a few things out and there was an extra lock on my storage unit. Radford Storage automatically charges my credit card each month for the fees, so everything was up to date on my end. I had to stay an extra night in Radford to visit during office hours the following Monday. My thought is that putting an extra lock on my storage unit without contacting me is unacceptable. This trip cost me more money than it should have in gas and hotel fees. I'm very disappointed to have had to worry about my things, and I hope this rating allows Radford Storage to fix how they are doing business so this does not happen again.
