Who would have thought that moving from your home of 25+ years to a much smaller home 400 miles away could be an enjoyable and even fun experience? Brian, George and their crews on both ends were fantastic. Everyone involved took away all of the stress of the move, were very professional in the handling of our items and our homes, were crazy fast and just great, fun people. The price was considerably less that other quotes we received but we don't feel like we sacrificed any quality in the services we received. Truly cannot recommend them highly enough.

Packers were late both days. Then, similarly to a previous customers experience, the truck broke down and we were not notified. They just didn’t show up. Our things were moved to another truck and repacked poorly. Our leather couches were not even wrapped! Extensive damage to our belongings, crushed boxes, and missing boxes and furniture. Beware of this company! I have moved 9 times while our family has been military affiliated and I have never had an experience this bad with a moving company. I will update this review when our claims have been processed. Given the incompetence we have seen thus far, I would not recommend you use this company to move anything.

After years of having a good experience, I was double charged for April of this year. When I called to have the issue corrected, I was only told “it’s ok now you are a month ahead and don’t have to worry about ever being behind”. Being behind was never a problem before and I never authorized them to double charge me to make me a month ahead. Two days after trying to correct the issue, where the office staff begrudgingly said they wouldn’t charge me for June, there by making me “on time” and not “a month a head”, I get a letter that a new company is taking over the facility and Manassas Transfer is moving. A bill showed up July 7th from the new company STILL charging me for June. I guess that extra prepaid month is gone, as the new company has taken over at this point.Editing to update to the reply: My unit was linked to my debit card for automatic payment when I rented the unit in April ‘11; no bills or invoices, paper or electronic where ever received. Automatic payments where taken within the first week of the month, at normal rate ,from April ‘11 to May ‘18 when I was double charged. As this account was set up as an automatic debit, there is a paper trail. But oh well, I’m dealing with a new company now.

I had just pulled up to my home with my husband, when one of the Stevens trucks sped up and tried to hit one of the kids that were riding their bike. I called but there was no voicemail to leave a message so I will be following up on Monday morning.
