This CVS has always been very reliable. Unfortunately, it may be out of their control due to corporate strategy - but it's very difficult to speak to a live person when calling in. That would make it 6 stars. I owe a shoutout to a gentleman named Sam. He is incredibly patient and often very helpful with all of my prescriptions for myself and family. Sam is the reason we continue to use this CVS compared to other pharmacies. He is the best!

Worst CVS Pharmacy in Reston. Go to the Plaza America store instead -- the pharmacist there is a consummate professional. The Pharmacy at South Lakes hates customers and treats them as such. I have made a complaint with CVS Customer Service but nothing will change -- double shame on me for continuing to go there because it’s the closest one. I’m done! I changed my pharmacy in the CVS App to use Plaza America.

I have used the south lakes CVS since it first opened. The present manager, Javier, is the best one they’ve ever ever had. He is on top of it. He always presents clean and crisp and is watching everything going on in the store to make sure everything is running smoothly. My second favorite employee there for me is Tiffany in the cosmetic department and sometimes behind the cash register. Because she always greets me, asks how she can help and makes suggestions. So great job To Javier and his team.

One of the rudest experience at a pharmacy! No one goes to the pharmacy for fun! Went to get my refills and was told to come back after an hour , came back and they just asked me to leave for another 30mins! Lunch break but why would you ask me to come back during your lunch break??!! And they were still dealing with other patients, the pharmacist is scrubs was the rudest person and all the had to do just hand me my inhalers! !!

The only reason I am leaving a review is the low rating (3 stars) for my favorite CVS. All people there are very friendly and ready to help. There is always a supervisor present, who is also very courteous and helpful. The stock may be small than other larger CVSs, but it is a small local community branch, so it is understandable. The pharmacy is quick and notifies you about the medicine read promptly. Overall I am very happy with their performance. Thank you, CVS South Lakes!

Usually my CVS experiences are hit or miss. BUT I have never had a single issue at this location. I’m writing this review, as they single handedly made my month. I’m headed out of town for a business trip, and desperately needed my refill (where I’m headed has no pharmacies) which the pharmacist immediately overrode my insurance so I could have it before my flight tomorrow. These guys are the best!

This is the best CVS in Northern VA thanks to the awesome team here. Manuel specifically has always been such an awesome employee whenever I need help, whether it’s running errands or needing support from the pharmacy or minute clinic.

I came to pickup important medication and the good for nothing pharmacist wouldn’t give me because he closed the register , y’all didn’t even post your hours. I came in at 6:05 online it’s open til 8

This review is only for the store general merchandise not the actual pharmacy.I am a regular customer at this location and the only reason I shop at cvs is because of the coupon savings and extra bucks rewards.I went into the store today because a product I wanted shows in stock but I couldn’t do a pickup in store for whatever reason and it was showing out of stock at the store. I asked the manager if he can price adjust and he said oh sorry can’t do that and kept the product back. The manager kept insisting that the product I am asking for is not on the shelf and is incorrect, item number matched the one on shelf and he still didn’t believe me. I kept the product back and bought something else. Being a regular customer and top saver at cvs I was expecting a little better customer service, but again I am expecting too much since it is CVS. I know the reason he wasn’t willing to price adjust was because online the item was selling at 30% which would only cost me $21.00 whereas in store I would spend $10 more as it was on regular price. The managers name is Javier. I probably will go and shop at other cvs stores or buy the item from a reseller elsewhere at cheaper price.
