*Massively overcharging* If you're considering going here, definitely get a second opinion before authorizing any work. Today I went to Chanel Automotive in Hunter's Woods Exxon and received a brake quote on my 2019 Volvo S60. I was given an estimate of over $1,900 for pads, rotors, and a brake flush. After comparing this to multiple trusted sources and independent shops, I realized this is $600-$1,000 more than what's reasonable -- even for a luxury European vehicle. Labor costs were massively inflated (over $1,000 total), and the parts were marked up to near-dealership pricing, without giving me any choice between OEM or aftermarket parts. A full brake job for this car with high-quality parts should cost $950-1,200 -- not $1,900. I felt like I was being taken advantage of, especially as a woman without mechanical experience. It's frustrating and disappointing to receive a quote that seems designed to exploit people who don't know better.

I have gotten the usual safety and emissions inspections here for the past 20 years. Always orderly and the inspectors have always been friendly.
Recently I usually get gas on Sunday when needed. Vincent is on duty and now when I pull in, he offers to pump the gas for me. That's very nice as I am elderly and recently have had surgery on both feet and standing/balance can be challenging. TY Vincent!
Last Month I stopped in an chatted with Favio Burke...I had renewal decals for my tags, but I am unable to bend over and remove the tags to get the decals on properly. It was a cold rainy day, and he took a look and brought the tags inside. He cleaned them up with spray 9 and allowed me to apply the decals. He then reinstalled them on the car perfectly. I asked him how much do I owe you, and he replied no charge. He wouldn't take a tip nor buy him lunch! I couldn't say TY enough, as I have a partial disability and elderly. He was genuine friendly and seemed quite knowledgeable about automotive issues. TY Favio!

We struggled for years at our usual auto mechanic - problem after problem, getting strung along with little transparency and a growing sense of unease that we were being treated unfairly. When a massive repair was required, my brother-in-law recommended that we try taking our car here. It was a night-and-day difference. The owner was immediately so friendly and explained the situation in easy-to-understand terms. It was a huge repair, but he made every effort to keep things affordable, and kept me updated on the whole process. I have a new go-to auto shop, and will be recommending this place to the rest of my family as well. I could not be more impressed with the service, the atmosphere, and the quality of work.

I have taken my car for years for the safety inspection and I’m in and out quickly. This time I needed breaks. They were able to get the work done and at a decent price. They are super nice and professional. I will continue to take my car here

I’ve been using Hunter’s Woods Exxon for inspections and oil changes for a few years. This week I needed repair work done. The staff, who are so friendly, fit me right in and finished the work in one day. Their prices are reasonable and the work comes with a warranty. And the owner followed up with me by phone to be sure I was satisfied with the work. I will be using them in the future to keep my 2013 Subaru running for a few more years.

This is a low-key gas station and repair shop with 5 star hotel services. I did my car inspection here. The inside waiting area is very clean and the manager also kept outside clean by blowing all the leaves away. When my car is done, they pulled my car right outside of the door waiting for me. Surprisingly good experience

I had a great experience getting some routine work on my car here. Favio was easy to work with. His work was done in a timely fashion and he let me use a car for the 2 days he had my car.

The Service Manager Favio Burke displayed a very bad demeaning attitude, when asked to support the charges being imposed. He became insulting, intimidating and refused to provide service. He does not deserve to serve the Reston community as a service manager.

Denied restroom access — even after paying for gas. I was told it’s only for the mechanic shop only. There needs to be a sign up about that for everyone. It seemed targeted towards me. My friend was able to use the restroom here just last week with no issue. Bad customer service!
