Been searching for an electric range to replace my long life Kenmore. It's been a month and my research feels like a black hole. She many brands, so many options... Today I met Richard Davis the Appliance specialist Coach! His knowledge and willingness to understand what the customer needs was AMAZING! He saved me another wasted month of trying to figure out what is important when purchasing an appliance specifically an oven. If I had a company, Richard would be in charge! Thank you you Mr. Davis!

Went to this location on 9/27/23 around 4pm to look for blinds. My husband and I aren't the savviest with things like this so we asked two store associates for help. They seemed bothered that we were asking for their help as they were sitting there having a conversation in the computer section..... They told us the blinds could not be cut or shortened and that we would have to get custom blinds and have them professionally installed. So, we decided to purchase a blind that was shorter, praying the length wouldn't be too off. Anyway!! So we got home, opened the blinds- only to find there is a way to have them shortened...thanks YOUTUBE. Home Depot, train your staff better. We could have purchased all the blinds we needed yesterday, instead we have to go back; exchange and have them cut by you (since we learned it is a service u offer) I've been to other Home Depots where the staff is more engaging and willing to help.. if you don't want to be there- leave :)

This has got to be the worst Home Depot in Virginia. The shopping experience here is so disappointing. Good luck finding someone to assist you. The management of this Home Depot needs a complete overhaul.

I haven't been to this Home Depot in a couple years, but it has not improved. Yes, they have everything you would expect to find in a standard hardware store. The problem is with customer service. The employees just don't care and they are not knowledgeable. I literally feel like I could work here and do a better job at answering questions.The employees don't know where anything else and they don't care. It's a real struggle trying to get basic help and information from them.This time the place is well staffed, yet they didn't even acknowledge me. Even though I'm standing in front of the register that's lit up with a "online order pickup" sign. Several employees even made eye contact with me only to give me a blank look. Finally the guy for online orders came to help me. He also had a couldn't care less attitude. I have to pickup part of my order in a locker and the rest I have to wait for him to get. What's the point of picking up an online order if it doesn't save any time. There's a lot of hanging out and staring going on. Even employees on their Bluetooth headsets taking personal calls. Thank goodness I knew what I was picking up because they guy didn't get all my orders. It's really disappointing that this is what Home Depot has become. It's simpler just to shop online at a place that will deliver in 24hrs rather than come here waste time, get no knowledge or assistance and be treated poorly.I'm leaving 2 stars because at least I was eventually helped and there are staff present.

Came here for some plants and some deck products. Found what we need but the store overall needs to look at their barriers for customers. They have placed so much product on the floor you cannot move easily within sections and it feels very crowded and not shopper friendly. This store is conveniently located near Reston Town Center

We had a very good time at Kids Workshop. We just happened to go to this place today. Including Kevin who is in the picture, all of the employees were very kind and helpful.

Absolutely lazy customer service from the manager. Went in to get a copy of a receipt and was told it wasn't his stores policy... tf dude you are a construction store we lose stuff.

The Sunday I went to Home Depot there were a lot of patrons shopping. I needed help from staff to pull product off the top with a forklift. Both Aiden & Tucker were busy with other duties but were very gracious and stopped to assist me. I could see they were busy but no one else was around and I received no attitudes from either of them and they were kind and professional. I appreciate their help. Their manners are a tribute to Home Depot and I will shop at this store going forward because of this experience, and others I have had with other staff. Good work Home Depot.

Absolutely trash customer service. No one knows how to order a toilets with installation. Worse, the reps are more interested in the text messages they are receiving on their personal phones than helping customers. I went there around 4 pm and they told me to come back later when they have a guy that can do it. I come back around 7 and on the way back I get into a car accident. I still managed to go to the store and still no one knows how to help me make the purchase. The manager of the store what too busy to talk to a customer too. So I tell the rep, just give me a call when you find someone that knows how to help me. It's been three days and no call. It's 2023 and you can't just buy the toilet and add installation via the app? Home Depot clearly has tech rot. They haven't trained your employees how to do it in store either. Ridiculous! Fortunately Lowe's has the toilet I want and I can just use the app to add installation and they will deliver it and install it at the same time unlike Home Depot which requires you to pick up the toilets and schedule the installation. Who wants to pick up 2 80lb toilets? I am hoping to avoid this store in the future all together but they are like a mile from my house. I will probably go for little things but will never ever buy any big ticket items from it.

This review is strictly only for Home Depot's Appliance Delivery Service in Fairfax county and not about HD itself who have some great employees and in general provide great 5-start service in other parts of the country. The delivery service they use here, however, is so WRONG that I feel compelled to write this review. People should be aware of what to expect before they order appliances. I ordered a set of washer-dryer and on the first appointment we never head any bells and the delivery crew left a tag on the door. 2nd appointment was scheduled 24hrs out so they cancelled it. On the 4th appointment a different crew showed up and told me "we have no idea why we are here". Said it's a non-custom installation, let me call my manager and tell them "I could not do it in a similar neighborhood last time". This is without even bothering to come upstairs to take a look. On the 6th delivery appointment with an order in hand that said to "Install", the driver still asked me to let him make a phone call. I was like why??? He gave me the phone and the delivery service manager on the other side started telling me that, the "original crew" who'd delivered the appliances would have to come out and install it. This was on a 6th Appointment!!! I was speechless!!! Fortunately one of the two crew members saw our disappointment and took the lead to come in and install it. Thanks to that noble soul. Otherwise we would have had to wait for a 7th appointment. The point is the delivery service comes out there and looks for 15 excuses why NOT to install it. Instead of trying to be problem-solvers. And even their managers apparently groom them to do just that. Another instance during their 5th appointment the "original crew" had shown up but only to "deliver" the stacking kit. The guys showed up, handed us the stacking kit and said you would have to re-schedule for installation. Again HD customer service is great and on the phone they mean well. They expect what reasonable people would expect (like we did unsuspectingly), and they're great at listening to you, issuing refunds etc but they have no idea who they're dealing with as far as this Delivery Service. All-in-all, we ended up going to laundromats for almost 3-4 weeks because of these excuses. Thanks to HD for compensating for some of it.

I go because they are closest to my house.... Otherwise I'd avoid like a plaque.... Yes some nice employees... but the customer service desk has no clue... I say the app that is supposed to let doers get more isn't helpful if the item 84 8 foot lengths of pressure treated wood says see associate. Associates have no clue and they assumes you can find one... If I can I travel out to Lowe's... even tho it thaws me 15 mins or more I. Drive time to get there... quicker trip cause they usually have what I need and more importantly staff that I can find that can locate a item...

They are pretty worthless picking up the phone. You will call and the phone will keep ringing. It took 26 minutes for someone to even pick up.Their selection of products are so-so at this location.

I ordered 60 bags of mulch from the Reston store for delivery on April 4. As of today, April 18, it has not been delivered. I've called the store 6 times to find the status. From what I understand so far, the Reston store had the Sterling store handle the delivery. The Sterling store seems to think the delivery is complete. The Delivery Tracker status states that delivery was "Attempted, Sorry we missed you."On April 16 I called the 800 number 3 times. They said they had to call the local store to find the status, but the local store was not answering the phone. They actually suggested driving over to the local store to ask for status, as telephone communication was not working.No one at the Reston store will take responsibility. They say they will follow up and call you back, but they don't. Once they get you off the phone you have to start all over, calling a new person, explaining the problem yet again.
