Recent visit to Wash.DC I shopped with Harris Teeter I Reston V.A. and was disappointed in pricing but more so in product selection..the profit motive has taken the drivers seat at this store.Some years back (BFK) before Kroger absord the grocer, service ,selection,variety and quality of goods was on the high end of grocery offerings. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION seemed to be the goal....incidently the store was noticeably sparse of customers with 2 checkers on the checkouts.This was also surprising as It was 2 days before the 4th of July..
Perhaps the store experiences peak volume hours other than folks buying food for the holiday.

I have not been in a long time. I forget who clean they keep the store, hiw friendly their staff are, and the great selection. I need to make this my go to now.

Alisen deserves a raise. Whenever I do curbside pickup, she brings out the groceries quickly and efficiently.
The store was out of the ground beef I was looking for (and I rejected the replacement because I wasn't sure of the price). Alison took it upon herself to check the delivery truck to see if they had the ground beef I wanted (sure enough, they had it), and she included it in my curbside pickup. Talk about going above and beyond. Keep up the good work Alisen!

Reasonably priced items. Good variety. But most of all, the most helpful, and friendliest of staff and the best of service. You cannot beat the experience at Harris Teeter. One thing though, wishing the fruit pie selections are broadened.

Bring back the old Harris teeter. Open 24/7 with multiple cashiers staffed. Saturday night at 10pm and they only have one staff member who is working the self checkouts. No cashiers in sight. I had to void an item but the employee was busy helping other customer who too had self checkout issues. I waited 7 minutes until I the only other cash accepting kiosk opened up. If you want to pay with cash, you better hope both kiosks are up and running.
Came on night of April 13 around 10:50pm, 10 minutes before closing. Lo and behold, they closed an hour earlier for “specialized floor cleaning.” They could’ve easily changed hours on Google for that day. Instead, people wasted their time going. Why do they even need an extra hour for floor cleaning? I’m sure the seven hours they’re normally closed would suffice.

This review is for the older woman with short grey hair working as a pharmacist here. I’ve never had someone so disinterested in helping me in body language, tone, and facial expression. Just know how you come off is very unprofessional.

Christina from the deli prepped my sub today and she was incredibly kind, excellent customer service. I will come back in hopes to be served by her again.

Wanted to share that I shop at the Reston Harris Teeter for all food and banking and medication needs. Recently they started adding .75 to each time I took out cash stating it was a transaction fee. I have shopped here the last 4 years and walk because it close by where I live. I do not understand why with no notice this new fee began and I asked the person running self checkouts and he "he did not know why it started but all customers were upset about it." Very disappointed and looking now for a new place to shop as I think Harris Teeter makes plenty of money without adding a surcharge for me to get my own money

If I could give them a negative number, I would. They are the worst Pharmacy I've ever been to in the northern Virginia areas. The pharmacist is mean and unhelpful the technicians act like they don't have a clue as to what's going on. My prescriptions have been lost. My orders have not been filled on time and lately they will not answer phone calls. You're better off driving to the manufacturer. seriously, I would not recommend this pharmacy unless you are in dire straits. Harris teeter acknowledges the problem and says it's hard to find good qualified personnel.

It's great having signage around the perimeter but if I can't see those signs walking in the door, they don't help at all.
