Mrs. Farrah has been especially outstanding and is truly one of the school’s greatest assets. She goes above and beyond in her role, focusing not only on academics but also on teaching important life skills such as respect, kindness, citizenship, teamwork, and supporting one another.

I particularly appreciate how she incorporates activities like popcorn reading to ensure every child has an opportunity to participate and build confidence in their reading abilities. She also encourages students to express their creativity and showcase their individual talents during free time, which has had a very positive impact on the children.

“My child has attended the Simon Center for over a year and it has been amazing for him developmentally. He loves his teachers and friends and I have seen him enjoy his experience so much. The center offers a variety of additional activities that also create a holistic experience. The staff is very consistent and we love still seeing his teachers from last year. Also, the center families tend to be very welcoming and there are lots of out of school gatherings where the kids get together.”

“I can’t say enough good things about Hunters Woods Cooperative Preschool. The teachers are fantastic and really understand the age groups they work with. I’m amazed at the range of activities they plan for the students.I’ve also been very happy with the cooperative element of the preschool. It really becomes like your own little community. Parents are always willing to help with emergencies, taking care of each others kids,etc.I have two kids currently in the preschool and will send my third when he is eligible. I highly recommend this preschool to anyone who may be considering it for their child!”

“We also chose this KinderCare due to its convenient location for us. I am so glad we did because they far exceeded our expectations. Our daughter stayed home her first 12 months, so putting her in daycare was very hard for us. We also greatly appreciate the communication. The various daily updates give us real peace of mind and help us stay connected to our daughter’s day - what she’s learning, how she’s interacting, and the little moments that the teachers notice and want to share with us. That level of transparency and care makes a huge difference. But most importantly, we feel completely safe and confident with our daughter in Primrose's care. There is no greater reassurance than knowing she is in such a supportive and enriching environment. We see her growing, learning, and developing new skills every day, both socially and academically, even at a young age, and the Primrose staff plays the key role in that progress that we see in our daughter.

“Terraset is a relatively small but growing school, with a great sense of community and fantastic staff. The principal, Lindsay Trout, does an amazing job. The school is under renovation and once complete going to be a showpiece for Reston.The PTA is strong and very involved helping the school provide an exceptional experience for all students. I would like to see a larger percentage of parents involved and volunteering, but otherwise it's a great place to get your child's education started.”

He is part of the school age program, it is a small center and certainly is not new, but everyday when I pick up my son he wants to stay and keep playing, the staff is friendly and if anything arises they always keep me updated, and that is what truly matters. I like that the center is small because that means my child is getting more attention.”
