Not the best school I would say because some of the teachers choose sides for example a teacher that we shall not say prefers to give the girls a little more slack than the boys.I also have another thing to say in a time when only a few kids get in trouble during a field trip doing something or some activity and the teacher or superviser catches a group of kids fooling around she not only punishes the group of kids fooling around but also all the insistent students and take away there privileges as well

Terraset is a relatively small but growing school, with a great sense of community and fantastic staff. The principal, Lindsay Trout, does an amazing job. The school is under renovation and once complete going to be a showpiece for Reston.The PTA is strong and very involved helping the school provide an exceptional experience for all students. I would like to see a larger percentage of parents involved and volunteering, but otherwise it's a great place to get your child's education started.
