There is an employee who ( an Indian or southeast Asian woman)is unreasonable extremely strict with document requirements and repeatedly rejects paperwork for very minor issues, making it impossible to complete your application. I recommend USPS fire this lady and you visiting a different USPS location for a smoother experience.

One of your employees, Jeanne, is such a kind, down to earth, and respectful woman! I hope you really appreciate her.
She's friendly and upbeat, and sympathetic-- not something I see often with USPS and probably one of the best USPS employees have come across in the last couple of years. She's very good at making people feel at ease -- as someone who was recently let go from the government, her kindness, patience and understanding was greatly appreciated.

The amount of racist and rude behavior at this location is unacceptable! It’s 2025 folks we are decades past disrespectful interactions it is not necessary to treat colored individuals poorly. You can tell some of the staff hate working there. If the staff at Reston location hate their job so much to the point they feel necessary to treat customers poorly, they should either retire or quit. Will make sure this awful experience at usps Reston gets investigated

I had the worst experience at USPS Reston on Sunset Boulevard. The staff specially an old oriental lady with jet black hair, probably her name is ANURG was Extremely rude to the extent that she seems totally racist hence totally misfit for this job of dealing with valued clients of USPS. She was acting like she was managing a Prison not a Post Office. She needs proper tracing or else immediately remove from this position as she is bringing Disrepute to the Prestigious United States Postal Services. Thanks

Have you noticed most of the postal service workers at this location have a sour look on their face? One in particular. I asked to get one document photocopied and I got snapped at by a postal worker and repeatedly told that, ‘we don’t do photocopies’ ‘go to UPS store, they do them there’ I told the snappy lady in the rude tone, that I had gotten photocopies done at the post office before and that I KNEW she was lying. Then she proceeds to lie again, and say blah blah blah we don’t have a copy machine, bs bs bs. They deserve zero stars.

Extremely UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF!!! Sent me back just that my package was not taped lol!!! She could literally help but she didn’t!!! Stupid waste of time staff!!!! Was urging me to buy tapes lol ! Are you running a business? Why don’t you help people with taping & not ask them to go back home! Pathetic behavior

Over the years this has become my go to place for Federal identity verification and other related work requirements. The post office is easy to get to - right off the main roads. There is decent amount of parking and I have been able find a parking spot every time.
The staff is friendly as well and prompt is helping me at the time of the appointment.
The process was also done in reasonable time.
