They didn’t receive our payment so instead of saying anything or telling us they sent us to a debt collector. Months ago. Never a single word. Do not send your pet here.

Have used Banfield pet vet for about 20 years. My 1st dog Molly for 17.yrs. My.dog Gizmo almost 3 yrs.This Chesterfield location is the best.Visits are by appts.The Mechanicsville and Chattanooga locations are dropoffs.I have sharef my thought with all locations. I believe it's not healthy to have pets there all day for routine care, vaccinations & simple care, ear, vomiting etc. if pets suffer from anxiety this not healthy.

They are super caring and nice, they treated my Wally like a long-time client even when we were brand new. Despite being the smallest Banfield woth the biggest clientelle, they go above and beyond and provide wonderful care. Best vet clinic in the area!

My dog is 10 years old He has been treated by several Banfield locations, in state and out of state. They have consistently taken great care of him. He is on their wellness plan, which means most services rendered are covered with no copay. I would definitely recommend Banfield for great vet service.

If I could do a negative 5 I would. On Saturday a vet tech gave my dog a toxic dose of medication. I had to transport her to another vet to be admitted for care. The clinic has yet to call me with an explanation of what happened or anything. I called today to try to talk to someone about what happened and I was told there was no one I could talk to and to call back tomorrow. Thankfully it seems like my dog will pull through this but this clinic basically poisoned my dog and hasn’t had the decency to call and follow up with me. I am writing this review to help warn other pet parents and hopefully prevent this from happening to someone else. I also tried to call corporate and I was told there was nothing they could do to help me as these types of situations were handled at the hospital level. If no one is holding this place accountable and ensuring steps are being taken to prevent this from happening again, then I have lost all faith in the safety of this organization. I will never be taking my dog to a Banfield hospital ever again.

I have had the worst experience ever with this store. Today I called and they placed me on hold for 20 minutes. The people at the front desk that are ansering the phones are not customer friendly at all. I still cant believe I was hold for 20 mins. I asked to speak to a Manager and they said a manager is not available all day so there is no to submit my complaint to. I was there yesturday and dropped off a stool sample full of worms. I was told that I had to pay for a fecal exam in advance which I did. And was told that someone would call me back with am update amd what type of medicine I needed to deworm my dog. No one called me at all. After waiting for 20 mins and then was routed to a voice mail. I called back this morning and the front desk receptionist tried to put me on hold again. When I asked for a manager they said no manager is availble. So I asked them about my fecal exam and after being put on hold numerous times the receptionist told me that the Doctor forgot to call me yesturday and there was no worms in the sample. So, they told me to call back again if I saw worms. I had to tell them that I dropped off the sample and there was worms. I was placed on hold again and then they said yes there were worms but it was adult worms and shouldnt have a problem. They prescribed no med and it was as if they lost my dog fecal sample and was making up excuses. Such a horrible experience and I am going to tell everyone DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION!! This is not the first time, the visit before they had me pay for med in advance and then told me they were out of stock and I would have call back and see when they are in stock and stop by again. This is so unprofessional and they always have long lines with a lazy front desk people. This location should be closed down!!

I've been dealing with this location since 2013. Always friendly and helpful. I've never had any issues with billing or the care they provide to my cat. I have friends that go there and to my knowledge they've always had good results too. Dr's Grove, Lucas, and Patel (who has since left) have always been great to deal with.

They're usually pretty busy but always helpful and knowledgeable. They take great care of all 3 of my cats. Desk staff are always friendly and very accommodating. Doctors do a great job of communicating visit updates.

Overall I like Banfield service. But our dog got sick after visiting this vet. Not going back here anymore. I remember a sick dog being dropped off at this site when I was returning back, probably the cause. And when ours got sick, all they do is refer to a ER doctor.

The Mechanville banfield location has poor customer service from not answering the phone and you are unable to talk to doctor and I am unable see the doctor when my dog is being exam doing an emergency I have been with banfield for over 9 years. If I go to a different location 20 minutes away I get a different experience my dog is part of my family. Why is every visit a drop off and I can not have a personal experience with the doctor . I just do not understand how the experience is so different at another location when it one big company

Been a customer to various Banfield locations across the country with varying degrees of satisfaction. This location has always provided great customer service and fantastic care for my animals.
