thanks to John! From the moment I walked in, he went above and beyond to make sure I got exactly what I needed. Not only was he knowledgeable and helpful, but he actually walked with me through the parking lot to double-check that we had the right parts for my vehicle. That kind of customer service is rare these days!
John helped me every step of the way—making sure I got the correct oil, fuel filter, and water separator. He was patient, professional, and genuinely cared about getting things right. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and values his customers. Thanks to John, I left feeling confident and well taken care of. Smaller store, but had what I needed and the employees were nice. As of February 2025, they are not testing or changing batteries due to staffing shortages. Parking is very limited so large vehicles are a challenge and towed vehicles will need to park elsewhere and walk. The parking lot is rough. For 80٪ of customers, this store will do well.

Ordered a battery online at 8:30, advertised to be ready in 30 minutes, never got an email stating it was ready after 7 hours. Noticed this location closed at 5, so went around 4, they had the battery (and at this point I got the email that it was ready). I was told they don’t install the battery in my car, and I’d have to go to the dealership. I’ve literally had an Advance Auto replace a battery in this car. The website LITERALLY says they offer free installation of THAT battery in MY CAR. I only went with Advance Auto, and paid a little more, for the convenience of having THEM replace the battery.
I chatted online with a rep asking for clarification and was told it’s up to the store if they install because they may be understaffed. That excuse would have been acceptable, even saying it’s close to closing we don’t have time would have been annoying, but at least honest. But telling me I have to spend more money and go to the dealership for installation, which I know isn’t true is unacceptable. I will definitely be returning the battery and not be returning to this location again.
UPDATE: decided to call the Advance Auto near my old house, and they said they could install it. Was finished in about 15 minutes. He said he didn’t understand why they told us they couldn’t do it. The computer had nothing to do with the installation.

Nothing new. Poor customer service, report, & knowledge from the same two nitwits who have been there for years. I had to call my dealership asking the same question I did with them. My dealership reassured me that they should be able to run it through their computer sytem to provide them with the exact part I needed, (which we both had a good laugh at) bc they could have easily just typed it into the computer system. You guys have one on your website for Christ's sake.I'm starting to see why certain jobs are being taken over by technology. I suggest maybe enforcing basic classes to provide your workers with more BASIC knowledge of vehicles...common sense might help as well. My family & friends will no longer support Advanced Auto Parts or its affiliates. Furthermore their prices are outrageous compared to several different competitors I've looked into. I'm just flabbergasted at the amount of stupidy there can be in one store.
