Waited for over two hours for an appointment. People working the desk were techs and did not know what they were talking about with the check in system.

I have some trauma with needles, and so getting my blood drawn is always something I need to work myself up for so I don't chicken out or have a full-blown panic attack.
There was a mixup at my new doctor; the dr let the receptionist there know to take the blood test off for now (only a urine test), and the receptionist agreed dismissively while setting up my labcorp account, and apparently she added the blood test as well anyways.
I didn't know this until I got to the front desk and was told I had to take both tests, or neither and have my doctor send a new one in.
This caused me to have a bit of a meltdown, but the guy who ended up taking my blood was very compassionate and understanding. He gave me some water and told me to take time to decide. He was very reassuring, and it really helped me push myself to do it. I'm really glad I did because it was the literal easiest experience I have ever had getting my blood drawn.
I really appreciate what he did for me. I know it was his job, but it really meant a lot to me.
If I didn't do it that day, the delay may have caused my medications to be prescribed later than I needed them in the long run, so it was really important not to put it off.

What is the point of the appointment system if an hour after check in you still haven't spoken to anyone?

I scheduled an appointment online for LabCorp - Villa Park. I have nothing but great things to say. My appointment time was 8:45am. I completed the self-check-in at 8:45am. I waited about 10 mins. I was then called to give my drs orders to the associate at the window. The associate was very friendly and helpful. She explained each process that we needed to take. I was then advised that I would have a balance. I put my card on file to be used once claim has been processed. That took about 5 mins at the most. I returned to my seat. I was called to the back after about 15 mins of waiting. The flow was very smooth. The lab tech that drew my blood was Belinda. She was excellent! I barely felt the prick. Belinda was efficient AND friendly. These days you rarely get both of those qualities. So, Kudos to the reps at LabCorp - Villa Park. Keep up the good work.

I just want to share that I had a great experience at this location. I arrived early for my appointment, which I was able to easily schedule online. After checking in, I was seen in less than five minutes. Chrysha assisted me during check-in and was incredibly patient and friendly as I had to email over my orders. Despite the delay in the email sending, she remained kind and even engaged me in a pleasant conversation while we waited. As soon as she received the orders, she got everything sorted quickly, even as the office started getting busy.
Shortly after, Olivia called me back. She was thorough with her instructions, clear, and also very warm and welcoming. I was in and out for my drug screen and urine test within 15 minutes of my appointment time!
Thank you, Olivia and Chrysha, for making this such an easy and stress-free experience. I was hesitant to come to this location due to some of the reviews, but after this visit, I’ll definitely be returning!

Waited 50 mins. after my appointment time. Went to front desk advising them I had an appointment elsewhere shortly and I had to leave. Was told they could fit me in next. When I got back to lab room I was told of an unexpected cost for a test I wouldn't really need. They advised me they would have to work on a revision of the orders. I told them I was already going to be late to my next appointment and I had to leave. I asked if I should take orders with me and was told No, they would keep them. Made new appointment for a few days later. When I went in they told me they could not find my orders.

I have ended up at this Lab Corp twice because the other ones had too long of a wait and another location did not have the tubes needed for the labs. They are so nice at this location and have walk-in hours and reasonable wait times. (They also have the correct lab tubes in stock-ha!) Even though it is farther from my house, I will now drive past the other Lab Corps just to go to this obviously superior location.

I just wanna say that they rock. My veins can be a hard stick sometimes and people here always get it on the first try. Sometimes I pass out when I get blood drawn, and they managed to get 15 vials from me one time and I stayed conscious the whole time (pretty cool how the phlebotomist could take the blood and lean the chair back at the same time— a literal pro). Also, whenever I have weird orders they always have everything in stock, and when I make an appointment I barely have to wait at all.
