Regency Moving just finished packing and moving me into my new home, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. They took excellent care of all my belongings, especially the high-value and sentimental items. The team was professional, efficient, and just a great group of people to work with. I was not happy with my experience with Regency Moving and Storage. I had Scott come out to my home and view what needed to be moved and received a “rough quote” five men and two trucks. The movers show up on move out day, one of them brings in a pizza box and asks to use my microwave to heat up his breakfast, I show the movers around and all they could mumble is this isn’t happening in one day, this is a two day job. I figured they were pitching it for a larger tip. Come 3:30 granted it was a Friday they finished packing up my house. I was thinking we were on our way two miles up the road to my new house. They said they were “ tired” and would be at the new house the next day. Mind you there was nothing I could do they had all my clothes and furniture. Fortunately I have family in town and was able to stay the night with them. Scott did eventually call me back and offered to compensate me for a hotel which I did not need. The next day the movers met me at my new house and did get me moved in. The movers were not professional as they were playing music out the back of their truck for the neighbors to hear that was full of profanity, and to top it all off when my soon to be ex wife came at the very end of the move with my children one of the movers made what I would call “ fresh comments to her. The move cost way more than was quoted, was supposed to be a one day move and took two, the movers were unprofessional and made comments throughout about the heavy furniture and the homeowner (me) didn’t realize how much or how heavy his stuff was, then the fresh comments towards my ex wife.

We used Regency for a move to another city in Virginia. We also used their storage service while buying another home. in our new location. While moving from our old house, the movers spent much of their time hinting, suggesting and outright asking for a tip when they finished. After several months of storage, we found missing items and damaged furniture when they delivered to our new home. My wife sent a message to the Regency contact - but we never received a reply. We found the movers, especially at our new home, to be very careless as they left us with numerous instances of wall damage and damage to our furniture. To be fair, when we originally set up our move with Regency, the woman who came to our home to meet with us was very nice and professional. Before our move was completed, we found that she had left the company after a number of years, and was replaced with a man who seemed more interested in sales than customer service. Bottom line: We would NOT recommend Regency Moving and Storage. There are numerous other companies who can provide much better careful, courteous and professional services to families who are moving. You're better off moving WITHOUT Regency!
UPDATE: It's been months since our move, but we're still finding dents, scrapes and shortcuts these movers left behind. And the response my original review is laughable. Yes, we contacted Regency about our concerns. And NO, no one ever contacted us to follow up. My advice is still the same: FIND ANOTHER MOVER!

Excellent Moving Experience!
I recently hired Regency Moving for my move and I couldn't be happier with the service. From the first phone call to the final item being unloaded, the team was professional, punctual, and incredibly efficient.
The movers arrived right on time, handled all my belongings with care, and worked quickly without cutting corners. They wrapped my furniture carefully, disassembled and reassembled everything perfectly, and even helped place things exactly where I wanted them.
Their positive attitude and communication throughout the process made a typically stressful day go incredibly smoothly. Their pricing was fair and transparent, with no hidden fees.
Highly recommend Regency Moving to anyone looking for a reliable, honest, and friendly moving team. Thanks again for making my move so easy!

Please beware of using this company as they failed to provide me with accurate moving costs and provided me a misleading estimate.
I made sure to call them twice before the move to confirm moving costs all for them to include minimum moving hours and surprise fees that were not previously disclosed. Moving is stressful enough and this was the last thing we wanted to deal with.
I really hope Regency takes steps to improve its transparency and communication with customers.
