We have been knowing we needed a new bed for quite awhile. But as is our want, we procrastinated. The plus side is it gave us ample opportunity to shop about (online) and compare. Once we decided that a Sleep Number Bed was what we wanted. We decided to finally go the Short Pump Store to see our future bed in person. (Up til now it had just been teasing us with pictures and videos).
There we met Sarah who walked us through the different varieties and did the setup to decide our individual settings. Sarah was patient and informative and had a nice sense of humor. (Which is a necessity when dealing with us). In fact all of the employees were quite pleasant and fed into our lunacy like they have dealt with such customers in the past. It made for a very pleasant shopping experience and at no time did we feel pressured to make a decision. Not that we hadn’t pretty much made one.
It all came down to size, whether we wanted King or Queen. The decision came rather easily due to space and the need to replace our present bed frame. (We didn’t want to do it). Sarah encouraged us to go the route best for us. She was right, as she was about needing the foot and head elevation. I went in thinking I didn’t need the foot…I was wrong.
Over all it was a nice experience and we can’t wait for our bed to arrive. Thank you Sarah and Sleep Number.

Had an amazing experience with Sarah - she helped us find the perfect mattress and sped up our delivery date (we live a gross distance away). Would highly recommend asking for her if you are looking for authentic, professional, thoughtful experience.

Spent $9k on a split king that hasn’t worked right since the day they brought it. The pot heads that did bring it messed up the bottom cover and didn’t care that it didn’t work right. I normally don’t write reviews and we’ve had this pos for almost a year. I would not recommend this store or sleep number beds to anyone!! Ever!!

If you think you might ever be interested in a Sleep Number bed, the Richmond (Short Pump) store is the place to go! Store manager Jared did a awesome job explaining the how and why to go with a Sleep Number. We were “be backs”- had to think a bit about the purchase but there was no pressure. Great service.

We enjoyed trying out all the mattresses and pillows to find out best match and look forward to our delivery in a couple weeks. I mostly appreciated that the sales people let the product sell itself. They weren't pushy and gave my husband and I time to discuss our options without hovering.

My fiancée, Mike and I had the most wonderful experience with our sales rep, Sarah. We had trouble sleeping together on an ordinary mattress due to differing temperatures and firmness levels between us. We had tried multiple different mattresses and mattress stores before finally coming into Sleep Number.All of that was solved with the purchase of our sleep number! Sarah showed us our personalized pressure points, and allowed us to try multiple different mattresses until we found our perfect fit!Cannot wait for it to come in! Thanks, Sarah!

I bought my first Sleep Number bed in 2008 and it was time to update. It was exciting to see how the technology has improved. David was our salesperson and he was delightful! He was very well-informed and made the selection process a breeze!
