Clean reception area. It was closed when I arrived. I dropped my letter in the stamped letter box. Sign on the door about passports appointments. Anyone scheduled may want to check ahead of time to be sure someone will be available to assist.

We came here twice to complete passport applications, and both experiences were exceptionally smooth. Even when we were missing some documents that we needed the first time, the postal worker who assisted us calmly and patiently helped us through the process, allowing us to bring in the missing information later that day. All around it was a great experience. I would highly recommend this location if you need to get a passport.

A lot of thieves have been working at this facility for some time. I find it odd that a facility/district manager(s) have not caught on to investigate this matter. I sent a package to my Family {P.O. Box) to this postal facility (zip code) 23236. The mail carrier-driver toggles back and forth to 23226 and 23236. As if the P.O Box number was ignored, then claim the packages was picked up at Postal Office 23226. HOW!!??? The P.O. Box is at the other facility and we watched the movement on the tracking ALL Last Week! This was an overnight Friday 12/01/2023. Why is the package in the truck all week? My cousin is on the way to the facility and neither facility has the package. I am on the phone and talking to customer service as my cousin goes into the 23226The facility and person(s) there CLAIM the package has been picked up. How is the question? I have a complete legal receipt for the LLC Business Post Office Box, yet the postal worker(s) thief and they tell lies.I will not live this down and I will cry to the Governor if I have to because the stealing must stop. Whomever you are, you stole family jewelry of sentimental value. You will receive your judgment soon enough. Such a disgusting thing to do!

A 22lb 12x24 package was cited as too large and heavy to deliver? but Somehow it made it across the country to their facility. I suspect the driver was too large and lazy to deliver. Nothing like swinging your broken leg on crutches up to a post office to beg someone to deposit it in your vehicle so you can take it home yourself. It was a farther walk to deliver it to my vehicle than to my front door. SMH

Had a package delivered to this post office. It was not ment to go to this post office but it did. Tracking said it was delivered to this post office. Lady at counter told me I was at the wrong post office. I told her tracking says it was here. She said no its impossible, I needed to go to MY post office. So I left and went 20 mins to MY post office. Guess what. They checked in the back...it wasn't there. They said it's at the lady Blair post office. So I drove back. Waited in line for 20 mins again.(like the first visit) and she asked why am I back? (With a little attitude this time) I told her the other post office said it wasn't there and that it was here...she checks tracking...and noticed it was here...she said...well it shouldn't be here...and then walked in the back for no more than 5 seconds...Nope it's not here...we actually already mailed it to the YOUR post office. (I'm confident she felt embarrassed for her lack of effort to help me before) told me to just wait 3 more days for the package to arrive. No effort and left me feeling like my package was right in the back. But since I called her out...she didn't help me. I'm not a complainer...I understand mistakes happen. But when you don't put effort into trying...I lose my sense of letting things slide.

I’m giving an updated review of this postal office; before it was a one ⭐️, but I’m going to give them a 4⭐️ this time.The employees seem much friendlier than they did four years ago; they actually even smiled and offered some small talk while taking care of me. The slips and forms were well stocked, and the areas were quite clean and orderly.I did note a sign posted that in effect stated, “Please have your package ready to go and already taped and addressed before coming to the counter”… I actually find this a good idea- we’ve been held up before by patrons arriving at the counter juggling un-taped boxes like a skit from Saturday Night Live. ??♂️? ?Thank you,John “Doc” Lykins, NREMT-Paramedic (Ret.)Midlothian, VA 23122

Mr. Lionel at this location was very professional and quick for the passport application which was resubmission not in a usual way.I really appreciate him for assisting us through the whole process.

One clerk who is doing passport photos and working the counter at the same time. Ridiculous. Customer service doesn’t exist here. It’s the same thing every time I come to this branch. Currently 10 people in line.

My registered mail package was mislabeled "addresse unknown at address" by postal employee. For 10 days this package was in limbo going no where. The package was finally delivered after I made a formal complaint to the consumer affairs division.

Rudest interaction with the employees after a package said “ready for pickup”. Apparently that doesn’t mean it’s ready. They told me i was impatient and rude after i told them i called several time to ask if it was actually ready and NO ONE ANSWERED.

Avoid this location at all cost. The running joke that postal service locations are run by sloths is alive and well here. They are constantly understaffed and if there are several people in line forget about it. The only bright spot is that those working are nice, friendly and super helpful. I'm not sure of the issue is mismanagement or what because the other locations in the area have no problem with being properly staffed and being efficient. I also blame people for not doing their research and coming prepared.

I’m convinced someone at this location/the Richmond distribution is stealing packages. I’ve had a few go “missing” in the last month. When I speak to customer service i basically get a “just wait and see” or “there’s nothing we can do”. It’s getting realold honestly. Please for the love of anything, actually scan in packages when they are delivered and put on the counters. Someone clearly is not doing it.
