Y'all. What a story. I have severe persistent asthma and have been having trouble breathing for 2 months. We're trying to find an inhaler that works well.
Last Friday I called to have my prescription transferred to this Walgreens from Buford Rd. Pharmacy (because they don't carry the NDC my insurance requires for coverage). The lady tried to have me run around hell's half acre to some other store to pick up that day. I told her no, I have 2 weeks worth of meds and can wait for them to order it since it would be there Monday. No need for all this other non-sense. I don't have time to run around after a prescription. She said OK she'd order it and get it transferred from BRP.
Monday comes and I have heard nothing. I call them to see what's up. Well, they never transferred it, ergo it was never filled. Since BRP was closed, the lady said she'd leave a note for the pharmacist to transfer it Tuesday and get the ball rolling. She assured me the pharmacist would do it.
Tuesday, I call to confirm it's been transferred. I was told no and could I give them the phone number of BRP. I gave them the phone number and all the information they needed. I was assured it would be ordered and in Thursday.
This is Thursday. Can you guess what has happened? I call and it wasn't transferred over. This lady asked for BRPs phone number. I explained this whole ordeal and that this is the second time I'm giving that number to them to transfer this prescription.
Look, I KNOW large pharmacies understaff (this is why I go to BRP), but this is nuts. I explained that I have bronchitis and I need this medication to breath. I am down to one week left on my sample inhalers and they've already been dicking around for a week. This doesn't inspire confidence. Next step: corporate.

I generally enjoy going into Walgreens, but this is the second occasion that I had to go to the pharmacy to be checked out. No one was at the registers up front. When I did see a cashier, she turned her back to me. I heard another person mention that the previous day, no one was assisting customers at the front registers. Very disappointing!

The pharmacist really needs a realty check I don’t know who she think she is talking too but I am not a child she does not Own the Walgreens and needs to be fired for talking to clients that way. The Asian lady Need customer service training asap avoid this Walgreens I don’t have government assistance my medication is covered thru my insurance it’s Ivf medication Bank of America insurance covers at 100% the lady is lost her damn mind

they lost or never recorded an immunization I got with them. They said they couldn't find it on record then rudely hung up without explanation.

I’m a long time customer of Walgreens. I’ve moved several times and always take my business to the nearest one. This is by far the worst experience I’ve had with any pharmacy. The store itself is fine. It’s the pharmacy. Restricted hours due to staffing. Staff they have (in pharmacy) often rude. Constantly closed because no pharmacist is on duty. Often out of medication. It’s awful.

Rude/unprofessional pharmacist. I held for 17 minutes and when my call was answered I was spoken to in a very unprofessional manner/tone. No matter how busy you are or how many calls you’ve taken you still need to remain professional. I will never understand why people get degrees to work with the general public and then act like this.

They closed the pharmacy for 3 DAYS for New Years! Completely ridiculous. Hope they enjoy the time off while all of their customers go without their medication.

I'm never giving this location my business again. We've been with them for 12 years and it's gotten worse and worse since covid. Today I waited on the phone for 2 hours to talk to a pharmacist about contacting my mail order pharmacy to have my script transferred and when I finally got through they said they were too backed up and couldn't help me and to call back in an hour. When I explained that I had already waited for two hours and asked if they really could help me, they said, "I'm sorry, can we help you with anything else?" Don't waste your time or your life. It's my daughter's 12 birthday today.

The pharmacy is horrible. Not enough staff, they are closed all the time and you can never get through via the phones. They also close whenever they feel like it and close for days. It's always a challenge to get try to get meds.

I don’t recommend this Walgreens pharmacy because it is chronically short staffed, closed early, or the drive-thru is closed due to staffing. They are now closed weekends, too. The staff seem burned out & are often kind of short with customers. I don’t really blame the staff though, this is probably a Walgreens issue related to insufficient wages or benefits. I think pharmacists are also leaving the field because insurance companies are awful.

This is the second time I placed my prescriptions in for delivery. The first time was supposed to arrive within 2 days. After calling the pharmacy over and over I was told FedEx had not picked it up but they would go out that day. A week went by and I picked up the medicine. I had another order this past Friday. Ordered same day delivery. It's now Monday and I picked up my medicine. Coming in is a pain as there is always a 30 minute wait. Everyone is rude. I would use another pharmacy

Been using this store since 2019. The last three times were dicey. Get there. Pharmacy closed. Mix-up with prescriptions. Their website stinks. They are awfully understaffed and the mixup of almost sent me to the hospital three times since June. You never know whether you're gonna be able to get your prescription or not

Do not send your prescriptions to this pharmacy. They have the worst customer service and they do not care. I went to pick up my mother’s medication and was in the drive thru lane at 6:45 pm with one car ahead of me and they closed at 7. At 7:02, they put all their pharmacist not on duty signs up, covered the window completely up with cardboard. Then, they opened the draw and handed the car in front of me their package. That was rude and f’d up. Oh the kicker is, they are closed on Saturday and Sunday now. Taking our business elsewhere.
