I have always taken my vehicles here in the 3 years I have lived in the area and my Mom has always taken hers here within the last decade she has lived in the area. The owner was so nice and fair. However now since his sons have taken over it has gone way down hill which is a shame. My mom has been trying to get one of her trucks in for the past 3 weeks with no luck at all. I took one of my cars up today to get an oil change and inspection. The man I dealt with was very short and rude the entire time. They got the oil change done and wiper blades replaced fairly quickly since it was first thing in the morning and at a fair price. But the inspection is a different story. Before he even got in the car I had asked that he not roll the windows down because my passenger window doesn’t work. He snapped that ALL windows had to be in working order for it to pass inspection. I have since learned that is not true. Only the driver window has to work in order to pass my state inspection. That could have easily been done. He gave me two options either don’t do the inspection or he can do it, fail it, give me a temporary 2 week inspection. He kept trying to push me not to do it. I opted for the temporary 2 week option. After everything was done the rude guy said NONE of the lights were working on the back of my car. He marked on the failed inspection report that my signal lights and other lights were not operable. I accepted that as he had already said my car would fail because of the passenger window. But none of the lights at all working on back of car sounded very suspicious because I know everything had been working fine previously so after I paid and left I immediately went to my moms to have her help me check the lights. The turn signals were now not working but every other light was just fine. Before I had left and after the bill had been paid the rude man said it would be at least 2 or 3 weeks before they could get me back in to get everything fixed knowing I only had 2 weeks to take care of everything before my temporary inspection would be up. They didn’t even notice replace the oil change sticker that they least put on your car. My car still dings in the display saying an oil change is due soon. It seems they just rushed thru things and did not do a complete job. Very very disappointed! I spoke with a friend who always takes her cars there and she said she had to have her car towed from there and taken to a different shop recently because of their bad customer service and lack of caring enough to get to her vehicle.
That is mine and my families last and final experience with Ridgeway Tire & Auto. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service I received. I was lied to and mislead and then left with no options to resolve the problem before my temporary inspection ticket would be void. I honestly felt like they didn’t even want me there and the rude man was angry because I did opt to go ahead and do the inspection. Save yourself the time and hassle and negativity and go somewhere else!!!

Been servicing my vehicles here for years. Justin has always been fair and honest with me. Can usually get you in pretty quick too. If you need something major done, call ahead of time. Best price for quality in the area for sure.

I went in with a simple problem but it was worse than I thought. It wasn't an easy fix but these guys had so much patience and not only fixed it but found another problem and they are willing to fix that too. Customer Service was Awesome. Great bunch of guys. Thank you so much !!

This place is only good for tires. Don’t get your inspection done here or any auto mechanic repairs. They left the air filter intake off the car and my car was really loud and slow. Glad I stopped somewhere else and checked it. Also they left a tool under the hood and the cap off the head light compartment. These items could have fallen into the engine or other parts and did serious damage. Who knows what damage driving around all that time with the air filter compartment off did to my car. I called and the manager could only offer me an apology and said other than that there was nothing he could do. How about refunding me the $45 I spent on bad service. Don’t waste your time and money.
