“What a fantastic practice and lovely staff! Our dog was comfortable with Doctor Lori and so were we. She is very knowledgeable and attentive, and our dog did not resist her at all. He can sometimes be a bit fussy with who he thinks is a stranger danger. I highly recommend Animals First Veterinary Services, especially if you are trying to avoid the commercialized VCA and all the things they push on you. I try to be educated with how to best manage my senior dog’s health and Doctor Lori knows her stuff. She clarified many things that I was unsure of and we are blessed to have found this wonderful establishment.”

“Our dog, Jimi was whining all night and would not move or let us touch him. In the morning he seemed worse and growled when his stomach was touched. When he started shaking we called Blue Ridge. It was a Saturday and Angel told us they had another emergency coming in but would still see us. I’m a physician and thought my good doggie might be dying. Dr. Narbonne examined Jimi and determined that he had a pulled muscle in his back - no blood draw no X-ray. Jimi took gabapentin and got a good night’s sleep. He was back to normal the next day! Small miracle. Many thanks!!”

“We found this vet after one of our kitties, Rankine, successfully went through FIP treatment in early 2023. I wanted to avoid any extra stress for Rankine and our other cats, who (all ut one) need gabapentin every time they have to go to the vet. We love Dr Foster and Dave. They are friendly, thorough and address all of our concerns and have great follow up. We have them complete our annual wellness visits (and vaccinations) for our 4 cats. We don't have to drug any of them before the visit and they don't have to leave their home.”
