So this is The Home Depot's preferred freight-line hauler for the South West Virginia region. I ordered a large 350 lb item on Home Depot’s website on June 19, 2025 that cost $1,236.25. ABF picks up from HD’s fulfillment center in Aurora, IL on 6/21. On 6/24 I get an email that the item is delivered to my home address , except only that IT WAS NOT DELIVERED. Go on my HD account and click the tracking # that links to ABF’s ArcBest tracking website that also shows that my item was delivered 6/24/2025 at 12:59 PM and received by DON CAMPBELL (does not display the address on their website tracking).
I called Home Depot to inform that their freight carrier (ABF) delivered to the wrong address because my name isn’t Don Campbell. After being on hold for 45min *awesome* HD’s rep confirms that my item was delivered to the wrong address and then told me that I must initiate a charge-back to my credit card with my bank in order to get a refund for the 1,236.25. I then asked if they could just contact the carrier (ABF) to retrieve the item from where they last dropped it. The HD rep put me hold for another 30min and then gave me ABF’s national 800# to call myself.
So I call ABF directly to find out where my shipment was and why it was showing delivered to my address when it hadn’t. After being placed on hold for 30min, again, I was told by the ABF’s rep that my item was handed off to their “Marketing Partner”. Which is just a BS way of saying that they use a subcontracted last mile hauler. Their subcontractor last mile hauler is Dehaven Transport and Don Campbell is their driver that signed for the load when he picked up at ABF’s warehouse on the 24th that included my item! Dehaven Transportion had my item for 6 days before delivering to my home address today at 12:50 on 6/30! The shipping box is in taters and was placed on an undersized pallet and had been walked on and staked on top as well. My $1,236.25 item maybe be completely trashed and will have to issue an RMA from Home Depot.

If I could give these people 10 stars I would. Dispatch was helpful in coordinating delivery. Driver was a super nice guy that even helped me get my delivery into the garage despite my less than perfect driveway. 10/10 will use them again!!

Coming from Dayton to Roanoke from Charleston to US 60 maps wanted me to get off of the turnpike and run some highway alongside I 77. Had to exit and start all over with maps then itcwas good.
