I came in a while ago and a gentleman named Jeffrey Wimmer assisted me with an inspection. Omg! I must say, I have never had better service! he was kind, courteous, knowledgeable and explained things in a manner I was able to understand, and he’s just an upstanding guy all around! I’ll keep coming back as long as he’s working!

I normally do not like to write reviews about someone behind a keyboard since I can not tell my experience with Charles garage through his contact on his website except getting a quote well I am very disappointed in the work charles has done on my dakota pickup truck I went in with a issue of truck kept cutting off and it took him over 2 weeks to hear from charles and when I did he told me my radiator has a leak and he replaced my plugs wire, distributor cap and he charge me over 900.00 for this work before I could get it home it was empty in gas after he ran it out trying to find out what was wrong with this truck, before I got halfway home the truck cut off on me at the stop light at an intersection on electric road and 2 nice people pushed me to the side of the road to safety , now contacting charles again he brought the truck in and spend another several weeks to find out what was wrong this time he replace the radiator, then the idle air valve and the ignition coil charges over 688.00 for that and after getting this truck the second time stopped down at hardees on hershberger and would not restart charles said I would towed it free of charge no way I feel Charles rip me off and had no intentions on fixing this truck of mine and I will never visit his garage again I have lost complete faith and trust in this business and here is the thing it took a man that is cripple in one leg to come to my house with a set of tools and a hand jack and the fuel pump to fix my truck and tell me all I needed was a fuel pump in which I told charles all the time he did what he wanted and now my truck runs like it suppose to and all I paid him was 150.00 compared to Charles close 1600.00Stephanie Russell

I'm from Hampton Roads and was in Roanoke visiting my daughter. Unfortunately, I had several issues at home and had to leave my vehicle with Charles and his crew. In sum, they kept me informed, ensured the issue was fixed, and treated me as a friend. If I'm in Roanoke again and have car problems, I'll be taking my car to Charles!

Had my vehicle towed to their shop because of no start issues. I asked them to replace my starter with the one I had because that's what I initially thought it was. After the new starter didn't fix it, they started diagnostics to find out my issue. Come to find out it was in a replacement battery terminal I used one month after buying truck. They kept me informed as they worked on it and eventually repaired. Thank you Charles and your guys who worked on it for getting truck up and going.

Took my vehicle for diagnostics that was under a service warranty from another shop to Charles to see why check engine light and traction control light was on. As everything I had researched stated something with timing, but the shop who had previously done the work and warranted their work whom also has nationwide towing wanted to charge me $500 to tow it from Roanoke to Blacksburg then wanted to charge me a ridiculous diagnostics fee or gave me the option to pay out of pocket and take it locally somewhere and stated if it proved to be their work they would reimburse that fee (haha that turned out to be a joke) . Chose A&D and not disappointed that I did after chasing wires to get a good connection, Charles confirmed my suspicions, so glad I took it to him. The previous shop finally picked the vehicle up from him and took literally over 4 weeks to fix it. Charles had it no time before he figured out the problem.

Awesome garage I needed something done on the fly and the owner himself took time out and did a job in the middle of a busy day. The mechanics there are all very friendly and knowledgeable shop is a bit dirty and could use a cleaning other than that I got a really great deal and had an over all great experience .. thanks again guys

By far the best customer service. I called about a bolt i needed off to fix a part on my car. They told me to bring it on in. When i pulled it they were extremely busy and the worker stopped for a moment to help me out! Not even charging a buck he offered to finish the job i started to ensure it was done right. If your looking for quality work by people who really care I definitely recommend checking them out!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Charles and his guys have fixed a couple different vehicles for me. They have given me great service. They have also worked me in a couple of times, and even stayed late to make sure I got my vehicle back. I highly recommend them.
