The store was very clean. I purchased a product with a price reduction sticker and went through self checkout, an employee was available immediately to change the price on the register. Overall great experience!

It doesn’t come easy for me to criticize a grocery store but I can’t let the slights pass. I’m visiting Roanoke and it was recommended I check out Aldi for quality and price. I will give them both price and quality as being on target but “Service” a big Fat zero “0”. I’ve shopped them on two occasions and both times brought my own bag and placed it before my items. Both times different clerks tossed my bag to the bottom of their shopping cart with my items to follow. What gives with not bagging my purchased items? To add insult to injury, no thank you for being a customer and when I made a point to thank them I had to repeat myself to get a response and again that was from two different clerks. I left feeling as non essential as one could feel. Needless to say I hope one never comes to my community. Not my kind of store nor my kind of service.
