Allied did a great job with our move! It did get a little delayed from a van breaking down, but there is nothing you can do about that sometimes. The movers were very gentle with all of our furniture and everything was wrapped and packed excellently. Our delivery team was amazing and I wanted to shout them out for rebuilding all of our items very quickly and they even offered to pay for removal of all of our cardboard boxes once we were unpacked. Would highly recommend!

Very nice people, professional and dependable. They excel at communication before, during and follow-up at completion. My move involved the contents of two houses in Virginia on the same day, nearly 7,000 sq ft of contents, located on a gravel road which a large moving van could not travel. Thus, two smaller trucks were needed. A team of four completed the packing by mid-afternoon. Contents were delivered to house in South Carolina on time and off-loaded with no issues. Hire professionals, hire Allied.

Susan, Jahlin, and the rest of the team at Dunmar completed a complex interstate move for me flawlessly! I was amazed at the consistent professionalism and communication from quote, to pickup, storage, and delivery. I could not have asked for a better experience!

The moving team (driver Jay and crew) were wonderful and I would recommend this team of very professional and hardworking men. However, the central office in Richmond created problems for us resulting in extra human and financial costs. They were disingenuous and unapologetic.

Absolutely terrible. The crew was late, had no supplies and the truck was too small. They damaged multiple pieces including a piano, antique cedar chest and a grandfather clock.

Wish I could say it went well but it didn’t. They were 1 week late getting my things to me due to a mechanical problem with the truck that I was told happened right after they loaded my things in VA. I realize that these things happen and I wasn’t particularly upset about that part even though it was an inconvenience. What I was upset about is that I called them the day before my things were supposed to show up checking on the status (it had been a week since they loaded) and only then was told that the truck never left VA and was going to be another week before it got to me! I shouldn’t had to have called to find that out. They never called me and informed me at that point. On top of that, my wood floors at the house they moved me from got scuffed and scratched and the wood floor in my new house got scratched. This was not my first time using Allied and the other times worked great, but this time, it was definitely not up to par. The driver and crew were nice though and worked hard, that’s the only positive thing I have to say

We recently moved from Virginia to Georgia. These guys were fantastic! They loaded everything up during a snowstorm with zero damage. Our belongings still arrived on time and placed exactly as we asked. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Just moved from Virgina to Florida with Allied. From the first contact by phone I knew they were the company I wanted to move me to Florida. Everything went well, communication was great and the crews were on time and worked very hard. Trucks were clean and the staff professional. I would definately recommend the company to anyone who needs a reliable , professional moving service.

Moved from VA to FL apparently during the busy season. Susan was fabulous, accommodating, and tried to alleviate my stress. She went out of her way to provide an accurate quote site unseen since I was visiting another state at that time. Susan drove an hour to deliver a tv box from the warehouse the day before my move. The guys (James’ Team) were fantastic and professional and were there a good part of the day making sure everything was wrapped and crated appropriately. Becky was great in trying to find a driver and crew in FL and even though the delivery was delayed, there was a delay delivery clause in the contract that ‘should’ relieve the additional financial stress (I just filed the claim so I may be back to continue my review). George’s team of three were fabulous (and strong WOW) and they unloaded the truck quickly, painlessly and were good about placement (and even offered their opinion wen asked which was helpful). They ultimately wanted me to be happy. I did have some damage to totes, tv feet, and a chandelier that shouldn’t be a problem being fixed or replaced since I paid for the full coverage. I haven’t been through that process yet so I may be back to continue my review:). Overall a good experience. I have heard some horror stories and was expecting the worse case scenario but was pleased that I was in good hands. Thanks All ?❤️.

Received email that someone (not posting his name) was supposed to be here 10/16/20 at 11:00 am per email. By 11:15 no one here. I call and get manager on phone. I get yelled at by him with unnecessary comments. Its 12:12 as I write this review and still no contact.
