We had such a great experience with Carol throughout our car purchase journey. She answered most of my questions before I could ask them. She listened to what our needs were and went above and beyond to find us exactly what we didn’t even know we wanted and within our price range. She even reached out to her local team at other locations to show us their inventory since they had just sold the vehicle on their lot in which I was interested. Carol went above and beyond and will also be first call next time we’re in the market for a vehicle. I consider her not only our personal car dealer but also a friend.

If you are looking for a model experience, look no further. I have purchased several vehicles from Carol and can honestly say that working with her has ruined other sales representatives for me. From start to finish, every purchase I have ever made has been simple and stress free. Wouldn't shop anywhere (or with anyone) else!

CAROL was wonderful. She called me back after sending pictures of a car we were interested in to go over every detail, flaw and feature. She answered any and all my questions. She followed up, but was never pushy. CAROL was a very straight forward honest sales lady. I wish i had this experience wherever i go. Although we wound up rerouting to a different used car that was not on her lot at the time, i will go to her first when my husband is ready to get his. This dealership only keeps the best used trade ins. No sketchy stuff or cons. Legitimate sales people.

I previously purchased from Berglund and the experience was great, so I returned in search of a new SUV for my family. Jaedyn was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was honest, upfront, and promptly replied when I reached back out to him.

Called parts department for a roof rack cap cover part number 8620541. Quoted $33. Volvo of Charlottesville said retail was $15.37 for same part. Told the Berglund parts rep that and he said that $33 was their price. So double retail price? I ordered from Volvo of Charlottesville and even with shipping saved $10. It's a shame you can't buy local without getting ripped off.

July 2023 UPDATE: Updating from 3 stars to 1 star: Found out from BMW corporate financial yesterday that Berglund never paid off the remaining balance on my BMW X1 that I traded in for a Mercedes 7 weeks ago. The only reason why it did not affect my credit was that I had been making extra payments so I could go months without paying. When I contacted Wayne Pawlowski the sales manager yesterday he told me he would look into it and get in touch with me 1st thing this morning. When I called at 12pm after not hearing from him he had someone else take the call and tell me that they had no idea what BMW was talking about that the car had been paid off. I then personally went in to get proof that the payment had been made. When I arrived at Berglund and asked Wayne for the payoff record it showed that the payment had been made this morning and not 7 weeks ago when I traded it in like he was claiming. I called BMW corporate and they verified that Berglund called this morning to get the new payoff amount and the payment had been submitted from Berglund this morning for the 1st time, so I was lied to by Wayne that it had been paid 7 weeks ago. Obviously I no longer trust this sales team. Buyer beware: Not only could this have had a negative impact on my credit, they had my BMW trade in their possession and for sale for 7 weeks without a clear title.Original June 2023 post- gave 3 star rating: Purchased a 2023 Mercedes 4 weeks ago from Carol and never received a follow up call to see how things are going with the car. When I purchased my previous car, a 2020 BMW from Hendrick BMW in Charlotte, they called a couple of days after my purchase and then monthly to ensure that I was completely satisfied for over a year. Very disappointed with the non-existent follow up at Bergland Luxury Roanoke.

If I could give zero stars I would! I have bought several new cars in my lifetime and this by far has been the worst experience! I have purchased from Berglund Ford, Berglund Chevy, Berglund Dodge, and had no issues but I will NEVER buy from Berglund Luxury again. The buying process was horrific and it just continues to spiral a year and a half later. When I purchased my vehicle, the salesman weren’t very friendly to begin with. Then I went to finance, the finance rep was a smart aleck laughing and saying I would be stuck in the vehicle a long time. When I got out of finance, I was told my current vehicle with all my belongings had been locked up in the garage and they couldn’t get it so I would have to come back the next day. When I came back the next morning the rep told me they had already sent my previous car to the used lot and he had to go 3 separate times (in my new vehicle) to get stuff that was in my car. He also stopped to get his lunch in my car while my family was waiting. Then we had issues with the title. I went to get it serviced at one point and my door and wheel were scratched which they did try to buff out. Now I’ve been informed that even though I specifically asked about the remote start in the app when purchasing it and was told it was free for the life that I owned it, that was a lie too. I emailed the manager after purchasing the vehicle about the horrible experience and never heard a word. The only positives I can give is the drivers of the shuttle are very friendly and the service rep Brennon is amazing. As stated, worst service I have ever had! Save yourself the frustration and headache and make the drive somewhere else. I assure you it’s worth it!
