Hadn't been to this store in years. Visited today. Great experience. Nice staff. Neat collection.....until I got home and my "new" (overpriced) box of .38 special defense ammo had 8 rounds missing.Called to let them know. Didn't even ask for a return. The guy gave the vibe that we were lying. So... Minus stars for that.Not sure we will return. We wanted to support local businesses, but understandably it left a sour taste.$2.06 a round... Literally ended up higher than anywhere. Not happy.

Great people, friendly, knowledgeable. Made me feel very comfortable with my purchase as a newbie. Distributor was a bit slow, so they stayed on top of my order to ensure I got it asap. Highly recommended.

Needed a set of rings for my 22 mag. They let me bring the gun in with my scope and we tried some different rings until we found ones that worked. Super nice people work there and it’s a comfortable place to shop. I asked The Who I think was the owner 5-6 questions and he kept a smile and helped me as much as he could. Nice people will be going back again

Price gougers. Most stores were out of stock on black powder pellets and 209 primers. This place clearly jacked up there prices to capitalize. $5 for 10 primers in a sandwich bag. I went a few miles down the road and bought a pack of 100 identical primers for $4.10. My guess is this is where they got there's. The powder was $10 higher than I've ever seen it. I'm not worried about $5 but I won't be back after seeing how they do business!

Absolutely.THE BEST place to buy guns in Roanoke and in the surrounding area. EXTREMELY friendly and helpful employees that always make you feel welcome and right at home. It makes no difference whether you are beginner or an expert they treat everyone with equal respect. Nice selection in stock to choose from, very reasonable prices, and if they don't have it they can most likely order it. Love this store!

Purchased a Glock 22 pistol recently. These guys know their stuff. I wasn't sure what I wanted and don't have a lot of experience with guns so the help was much appreciated. Paul and the staff are always ready to help answer questions, friendly and just plain hospitable. I'll never go any place else. Thanks guys!

One of the biggest gun stores I've ever been to. They have muskets from the 1800's that actually work! I've NEVER seen them anywhere else before. The guys behind the counter were actually helpful AND nice, not the typical arrogant know it alls you find in these places. Of course it was clean and well maintained. I was just window shopping to kill time so I don't have input on actual transactions, buy I'd still reccomend you come in and at least check it out. It deserves five stars

Being new to firearms, they have treated me well and answered my basic questions. Some other places in town have not been so understanding about my lack of knowledge. I appreciate their willingness to talk with me and negotiate pricing on used guns.
