My Wide and I made the trip down from the New River Valley to make a purchase and use a $10 rewards sent via email. When we went to check out, they said that the coupon had been used previously which, is impossible. We were out of state when the coupon was sent to us and today was the first and only time that we visited any Eddie Bauer store. They refused to honor the coupon and made no effort to do the right thing. That's not how you treat regular customers...very poor customer interaction! Do not recommend this store.

I'm not a huge fan of being followed around the store the whole time, especially when I'm an early thirties male, wearing a polo shirt and expensive shorts, with clean cut hair - in short, not being suspicious at all.
From the time I entered, a middle-aged lady and an older lady both treated me suspiciously as I browsed the merchandise. I felt rushed, and uncomfortable.
I finally found a few items that I liked, and went to the register, where a younger girl told me the register was closed, and then to her manager that she was going to lunch. I got in line behind another customer, and waited while the elderly cashier repeatedly entered the customer's info in wrong, admitting spelling was not her forte. I was waiting, and there were multiple staff members walking around who made eye contact with me, and two other registers open. You guessed it, nobody came to help.
I've worked in customer service for over a decade, and I am therefore usually not one to give bad reviews based on this sort of thing. However, today, I felt not only uncomfortable but purposely inconvenienced by the staff here.
It is going to be much easier just ordering online, where I can guarantee it will not take 15 minutes to ring up a pair of pants, and the price will be what it's supposed to be.
I will not return to this location, and I cannot recommend anyone else come here.

Every time we visit here the staff is just excellent. We can browse and try things on but we don’t feel like there’s a shadow. Today, the main service folk on the women’s side guided us to some excellent deals! New coat, and now we’re set for winter (although it’s July). 10/10 all the way around.

Lisa and her team at the Valley View store are always helpful! When something isn’t in stock, she quickly offers to order it online and have it shipped for free. The store is clean and well stocked. Be sure to check the clearance ranks for good deals!

The associates were very helpful and extremely nice. Such great products here. I'm a huge fan of Eddie Bauer and their products. Their clothes and footwear are the best around. Love it!

I spent about 30 minutes in this store today attempting to find pants that were functional and fit nicely. I left empty handed, but so appreciated the red head female employee (I'm thinking she was a manager) that was working. She was so nice and obviously cared about my experience in the store. Her simple actions and kindness really brightened my day. I will be back for sure.

I have long been a customer at Eddie Bauer, buying clothes for my wife and myself over many years. When we went to the store today to exchange a shirt for a different size from a Christmas gift- we got a second shirt which resulted in having to pay a difference in the original cost of the shirt. Apparently US currency is no longer accepted at the store. I am sure covid is the excuse, but people are in the store touching things, bringing in drinks, returning clothes, etc... It is just an excuse not to use cash. If I hadnt had to pay the difference, I would have left with no purchase.
