Absolute scam. Took my car there for an inspection and new tires, and they told me my car needed $1,300 worth of repairs. I knew this was a lie, and they were deliberately trying to force my hand to get these things done, as they told me they were putting a rejection sticker on my car, I magically received a credit line increase on my Firestone credit card. What are the chances, they really think they’re smart. I immediately took it to the guy I trust over at 9th street garage, and he told me he could only find one thing wrong, and it was a $272 fix. If you’re trusting Firestone with your repairs, you might as well be throwing your money in the trash. I will never go there again.

I've had my vehicle serviced there 3 times now. This is the second time that in the same day the tire light comes on. There's different fressures for the front and rear, when they rotate the tires the pressure is not adjusted . This last time I'm missing the service sticker and ran out of washer fluid the same day as well. Part of the service is topping off fluids which wasn't done. With them missing those things makes me wonder what else wasn't done

My tire pressure light came on during a long-haul transport to get a rescue dog from his foster in TN to his adopters in NJ. Stopped by without an appointment, but they got me in and out within an hour. My tire just needed a patch job, and they didn’t even charge me! The team has my gratitude, and their assistance meant that a senior boxer has a new home with two new moms that love him with all their hearts ?

Took my car here because my motor was misfiring, and they told me I needed new spark plugs. Paid for the new plugs and labor ($500+ at this shop…) and the car seemed to run better, at least. Months go by and my motor begins to misfire again, so I took the car to another mechanic that’s closer to my residence. Come to find out, they left one of the plugs completely unchanged. The new mechanic told me that the plug was extremely difficult to remove, so I suspect that’s why the mechanic at Firestone decided to give up on it. Seriously though?? They said nothing to me about this, and still charged me for it?? This place is not worthy of anyone’s trust. Stick with private mechanics.

My car started having a really loud noise and we pulled over knowing we had bad breaks in the front around 10/10:30am. We stopped in to get a quote since we didn't want to risk the noise getting worse or causing more damage. Asked a quote for new break pads, rotators and calibrators for the front. The First quote came to 1200, after calling some family members and friends who knew more about cars, we so happen to mention we got the back fully replaced not to long ago with all the same work for just over 800 and the shop then requoted us for 1099. We then decided to just do the break pads, and rotators for the time being to get us home and save some money, getting us down to about 800 dollars. After the shop started looking over the car and doing some work we got a call back around 1pm letting us know about more parts they suggested us in replacing while mentioning the calibration looks fine. We deny again for any extra work to be done and explain our price range we have to work with. The shop then proceeds to quote us again but this time just for a little less. Now 4pm our car is not ready when it should have been " done shortly " after the last phone call around 1pm. We've been sitting in the shop going on two hours since expecting it to be ready to go without any update to be heard. I understand more than the breaks are being replaced but going on 6 hours now is absurd for tire work/break work. Especially for only half a car ( front end tires) When first speaking with the gentleman behind the front desk we felt like we were being played, the price has almost dropped double the more we voice ourselves and our concerns, the time management is terrible, and the overall interactions were alarming. Definitely a shop trying to just earn their money anyway possible. . . Finally out at 4:30. Definitely saved us some money, but took all day. Uncomfortable that we saved over half the estimation, wondering if we didn't question the price if we still would have paid it.

Took my truck in for an alignment and inspection. They warned me that because my truck is lifted, they might have trouble with the alignment. That is acceptable. They called to say it was ready and I went to pick it up. They said the tech spent two hours on the alignment and could not get it aligned. No charge to me. That is also very acceptable. Happy so far. I left and drove around the block. The toe on the right wheel was off by about 10 degrees! (I dropped it off with toe at about 0. ) It was not safe to drive to I immediately went back they could clearly see in the parking lot that the toe was off. I asked the angry tech if he could move the right wheel in and tech he 45 minutes fiddling with it again. They said it was fixed and I left again. This time is was at about 8 degrees off. The tire squealed 5 blocks until I left it in a parking lot. I returned the next day to the parking lot and adjusted the tie rod myself so I could get the truck home. I then did my own alignment in my garage and found Firestone had only adjusted the right side and the cam nuts were still loose. They never touched the left side. (cam nuts were painted and not scratched). I understand that they could not do the alignment with their machine and the unqualified tech. Perfectly reasonable since my truck was not standard, but to return the truck with the toe set 10 degrees off on one wheel and loose cam nuts is not acceptable. It was undriveable. At their recommendation, I will take it to a shop that specializes in alignments.

Beware: I brought my car here for an inspection and was failed for needing a new tie rod. I took it to the local dealership for a second opinion and they said my tie rods looked perfectly fine. If you search "tie rod" in the reviews of this location you'll find similar stories.

This place was awesome. We are from Maryland and was in bluefield Va for our son’s football game and on our way back home we got a flat tire. We stayed in a hotel until the next morning and called this Firestone and they had the tire we need. Nakota was awesome treated use very good. Nice, polite and just great customer service. We where back on the road within an hour. Thank you store #654876.

This place is terrible. Don't take your car there for an inspection they will do everything they can to sell you on other services. Passed one of my vehicles for years in a row to fail it for the same thing they have passed in all the other years. Once they found out I wasn't spending any other additional money they failed me. Honestly the customer service has always sucked, Inspections are wishy washy and there service is terrible.

I enjoy going to Firestone tire service center, because they really take care of each person and do it with a smile.
