If I could give Vincent at Firestone a standing ovation in review form, I would. And I’d demand an encore.
I arrived at Firestone today with a tire so low it was practically whispering, “Just leave me here, man.” I was bracing for bad news, delays, or being told I needed a new tire, a new car, maybe a new life. But then—Vincent emerged.
He didn’t walk—he glided. The man had the energy of someone who’s fought dragons before breakfast and still made it to work on time. He approached my car with the calm intensity of a storm-watching monk, took one look at my sad, deflated tire, and gave the kind of nod that says: “I’ve got this.”
With a precision that would make a Swiss watchmaker weep, Vincent checked the pressure, whipped out the air hose, and in a matter of seconds, breathed life back into my tire. I swear I heard the rubber sing.
But it wasn’t just the act—it was the presence. The confidence. The unspoken promise that everything was going to be okay. Vincent didn’t just inflate a tire. He inflated my soul.
Give this man a cape. A crown. A holiday in his honor. Firestone, protect him at all costs.

Made appointment for inspection and brake work. Came in, place said appointment was for brake work only and I would have to leave the car there two days for an inspection. As some of us actually have jobs and lives I walked out. Also refused to honor a road hazard protection plan on a tire six months ago. Worst service ever, never coming back again.

bro this place is actual buns. made an appointment in advance, waitied an hour just for my car to be pulled in, followed by another 50 minute long oil change. Not a single apology or concern, truly just sad, i would’ve rather have driven down to Rocky Mount and gotten it done for half the time and half the price. Ridiculous.

Well, The vehicle was in twice for the same issue. The first time I paid $400 for a radiator cap and a coolant flush with a $135 diagnostic fee. The problem was not corrected, so I called to make a second appointment. The operator waived the diagnostic fee for the return trip and scheduled my vehicle to be dropped off at 8am on Sunday morning. After getting up early and driving to the shop, I was greeted by nobody. I had to fill out and envelope and drop the keys in the slot. At 3pm I called to check the status only to be told that no technicians work on Sunday that could diagnose the problem and I would have to leave my car to be looked at on Monday. In the meantime I received a coupon via email. After the car was ready my wife went to pick it up only to be told the coupon was not valid until three days later and could not be used. I mean.... come on? All in, $700 plus for an $11 radiator cap and a $290 valve, three days without my car, and not even a courtesy coupon redemption. Lame.
UPDATE: I received a very nice courtesy call from the store manager and we worked out an agreement as a make good on the issue. Can't tell you how much I appreciate the follow-up and great customer service. I'll be back next time I need my car maintenance done. The quick response and obvious customer care is rare to find these days. Thanks!

I called late morning on a Thursday to see when I could get a state inspection. To my surprise they said they could do it that day in 1.5-2 hours. I dropped it off and walked to the mall. Sure enough, my car was done within that 2 hour window. In this area that “basic” quality of service is hard to come by and I’ve dropped cars off the night before for a “planned” inspection and still not had it done the next day with no notice from the shop. I would (and already have) recommended this Firestone location just based on timely service and good staff.

Great service center. Always friendly. Always fast. Even if they are backed up they are honest about it, and I appreciate honesty. I will continue my Tesla Model S service needs here.

I sent my car in for an alternator check, and when I got it back my car didn't start off of a brand new battery, and the ac didn't turn on. Issues I wasn't having until I gave them my car.

I've taken my personal and work vehicles to Tanglewood Firestone for several years now. The service has always been good but with the new management change, service is better than it has ever been. Referred another over again today and will continue to do so.

Great experience. They worked me in and was able to fix my Jeep before closing! I really appreciate it since I'm leaving for the beach in the morning. I am beyond grateful!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our truck broke down on a camping trip out of state on a holiday weekend, and the folks at Firestone really helped us navigate a difficult situation!
