Spent one night here. The room we stayed in was huge. Everything looked clean except for the one rolling chair that sits at the desk, it had a bunch of different stains on it. There was a full sized fridge and full sized microwave in the room, including a dishwasher. The breakfast was pretty good but it kind of fell short compared to other hotels breakfasts. It was nice to make my own waffle at least. The only thing I didn't like was the elevators. The elevator made weird noises and would just stop randomly. Got on it once and pressed 3. Elevator went up to 3 and stopped. The door never opened and then the elevator went back down to 2. There was a sign that was posted February 7th that the pool was out of order. I stayed on the 22nd so 3 weeks and pool is still out of order? Wasn't really planning on swimming anyway but still kind of disappointing.

I cannot believe this hotel is part of the Hilton brand. I have always only stayed at Hilton and am a Gold member. As soon as we arrived there was no one at the front desk to greet us. I had to wait at least 15 minutes before someone showed up to the front desk.As soon as we walked into our room it smelled so strong of marajuana. Right then I should’ve turned my family around and asked for another room, but I’m usually not one to complain. We were only there for one night anyway. The people in the room next to us were loud all night. Tv was blasting and their poor baby was screaming….not in the hotel’s control I know, but there seem to be some very shady people living here long term. I sent a message to the front desk to let them know with no response. The amount of shady people hanging around here/ staying here is crazy. I felt very unsafe. Sketchy people hanging out in the lobby and parking lot. I felt like I was staying at a homeless shelter or an hourly rate motel…not a Hilton. Thank goodness we are leaving! Please avoid…if you are loyal to Hilton go stay at the Hampton Inn down the street!!!

Bedbugs - stay away! Quite possibly the worst hotel I've ever been in. I was shocked that this place is part of the Hilton brand. We turned on the broken lamp to reveal stains on the couch and what looked like vomit splattered on and around the window. The worst part was the blood spots and squished bedbug on the mattress. We didn't even stay despite being exhausted from traveling. Walked in, looked around, and left within 10-15 minutes. The desk staff offered another room but we were too grossed out so they offered a refund but apparently couldn't process it until the manager was in the next day. However, I noticed it was still charged to my card so I called to ask again for a refund. First, they couldn't find the reservation because my husband's name was spelled wrong then when they did find it, I was told they have no record of us not staying and was grilled on who offered the refund. I was told to send an email with more details so they could decide whether to offer the refund we were already promised but thankfully they were prompt in replying. Terrible hotel experience overall.

I dont usually review stuff, while I usually do read reviews before booking, I am wishing I had read the more recent reviews of this place. I felt obligated to add to the more recent reviews that I read after my first 5 minutes in the hotel. The room itself that I was in was decent at best. It definitely felt a little musty and not up to par with other Hilton stays. Other comments read of various issues, I guess I got lucky. My biggest complaint is the riff raff, basically from the time I walked through the front door to my room it was a strong Marijuana odor. Passed what appeared to be 2 juveniles that were wearing ski masks and seemed really shady, not sure what they were doing... There is a lot going on in the halls. Also encountered a odd character passing through the parking lot coming into the hotel, not really sure what he had going on. Again, based on other comments, this appears to be the norm here. The only pro is that it's close to the airport.I won't be able to review breakfast, I've read enough bad comments before going to bed to make sure I end up somewhere else for that in the morning.I'll avoid this place in the future, I'll go out of my way a bit to find something more appealing.

I just spent 3 nights in the Home2 suites in Roanoke Va. I have to say this was probably one of my worse hotel visits ever. It started at check in when arriving to the room the water in the bathtub was continually running and would not shut off. Then that night the fire alarm went off due to the pool, the pool ended up being closed (one of the reasons we booked this hotel was to swim), then that night the heat was not working in the living room (temps outside were in low teens) a new unit had to be put in and it ended with the dishwasher not working. The other concern was the up keep of the hotel. I am attaching pictures. I wish I would have checked out and went to a nicer hotel this is not what I expected from the Hilton brand. Also, not to mention the lighting in the rooms. It was nearly impossible to get ready with the poor lighting through out the bathroom.Rooms: Poor lightning needs upkeep. Not what I expect from Hilton Brand

This hotel was very underwhelming. When we first arrived at our suite there was a thick smell of marijuana in the hall and it last the entire time we stayed. We had 4 people in our party and there was only 2 towels in the room and when we requested more we were told they were out of towels. Our room phone wasn't working and was missing a directory and buttons. There was a language barrier with the housekeepers and staff at breakfast. The buffet line was messy with spilled food and condiments and when we asked a staff member if someone can clean it they didn't understand so another quest took it upon themselves to clean it. They ran out of sugar, cups and it took over 30 min waiting in line to make a waffle. The front desk associate with red hair was very unpleasant. I've never had thisbttpe of experience at any other Hilton property in the past. Very disappointed.

Large rooms. Clean and well laid out. Pillow were not comfortable for me and the bed was only tolerable.

Nice hotel aesthetically. They do not have enough washcloths apparently so we had to ask and only got an max of 3 each night. We were told by the front desk that breakfast options vary by day so they couldn’t tell us what would be available for breakfast. Walking into the hotel in the evening both nights it smelled heavily of marijuana all on the main floor and also on the 3rd floor where we stayed. We would not stay here again.

Hotel is filthy from entrance to elevator lobby and room hallways. Front desk was overwhelmed with no answers or help for anything. Room had only two towels and when I asked for more was told they had none (all in the wash). Told no staff to clean our room or move. Will NEVER stay here againRooms: Disgusting. Our room had pet vomit on multiple areas of the rug and the bathroom floor was dirty. Everything about our room felt unclean.Safety: Did not feel safeNoteworthy details: This property is not worthy of the Home 2 Suites brand

Do not stay at this hotel.Animals run rampant, dogs barking all hours of day and night.Domestic violence situations in the hallways 3 different times across the stay.Hotel staff never serviced the room, left me with a clogged toilet, no paper products, dirty towels, ect. When attempting to address issues with front desk no one was available to handle any of it, simply a note left saying be back later. Finally just left on night 9 of my 11 night booking.Much more peaceful to sleep in my truck than stay in this place.Have been refused to be refunded for the 2 nights by Hilton customer service.Beware of this hotel and staff, and Hilton as whole at this point, even as a gold rewards member they could care less if I continue to use them. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

This hotel is very nice with tons of amenities. Only minor downfall, we requested fresh towls and washcloths, no one delivered them to our suite. The kind gentleman at the front desk handed them to us. I noticed that once in our suite, one of the washcloths was stained (Detailed spot checks are highly recommended). The shower body wash ran out (Recommend replacing after each new guest). During breakfast before 9 AM, there was no food. Stood in line for an extended period to wait for more food and the service counter was very sloppy (Recommend staff frequent the area for cleanness and constant flow of food). Overall, the experience was pleasant and will revisit again.
