I have seen several doctors here over the last 10 years and all of them are fabulous. Very patient and they take their time answering your questions, in person. HOWEVER, the rest of the staff: the nurses and receptionists are all absolutely awful. They are extremely rude, super short and do everything they can to ignore your phone calls and emails. It is so extremely disappointing considering that women have many medical needs, with these in particular being sometimes immediate. I have had many of the nurses of all the different doctors I've seen refuse to answer my phone calls and emails for 4, 5, 6 days, even with repeat calls. Then you'll call the operator to "page the nurse" and they'll either hang up on you or the nurse will send you to voicemail. I wish the doctors would pay more attention to who they hire or who is hired underneath them because it's ridiculous.

I've been going here for the past 8 years. I've had a great experience under the care of Dr. Quinn. She really makes you feel at ease, answers any questions, is a good medical provider. Recent staff service: I moved from Roanoke recently and was in need of a prescription refill until I could establish an OBGYN in my new city! I spoke with a nurse in the pharmacy dept of the facility, which I had never done in my years coming here. I asked her if she could refill my prescription despite not being in for an annual (I understand this usually isn't how it works) but voiced my concern since i just moved and didn't know what to do. The nurse was very rude and short with me. Telling me there was little she could do. As our conversation went on she continued to be short tempered with me. I was disappointed in this service. I needed help finding a new OBGYN and she would not answer my questions as needed. I know they are under new management so I'm hoping they can manage these unwanted customer service attitudes.

Just moving to the area and after hearing horror stories about the Pediatricians in Blacksburg- we decided to look elsewhere. We came across PtoC through reviews on Dr.Nur, and very happy with our experience! He's been seeing our son for about a year now and we've never had a bad experience. All the nurses we've came across there are very sweet and kind. Dr. Nur takes his time and also explains precisely what the visit is about- We've never felt rushed! I would recommend Dr.Nur to other moms/dads.

EDIT: His name was Dr. Burton. If I could give you more than 1 star I would. My best friend came in with a nasty fever, shaking, and crying. I drive her and cane in with her. She was seen by a doctor there who was ungodly rude. He was examining her and when he was feeling her stomach, she yelped in pain because she had been vomiting and her abdomen was tender, and he commenced to say "what are you crying about are you pregnant or something" um no a******* shes sick. Then he told her all she has was a little cold and prescribed nothing to help her. She does not have a cold. Anyone without a medical degree and look at her and tell that. I will never recommend anyone come here after what I witnessed.

I have been with physicians to children for 21 years. I have watched it go from a 5 star to a no star practice. I am really sad about the current level of care (or lack there of) that is now the norm. I could site many examples over the past few years but today's experience is the nail in the coffin. I called this morning to make an appointment for my daughter who I believe has a concussion. After a very long time on hold, I finally got thru. At 8:50 am, the soonest appointment for a concussion was at 2:50. When I questioned the scheduler, she said "its Monday, what do you expect.". We ended up a minute clinic where the nurse practitioner was horrified at the situation. We received better, faster, more compassionate, timely, cheaper care at CVS minute clinic! We will not return to physicians to children. Be cautious where large corporations have taken over small practices, their main concern is not your health or the health of your child, but the bottom line on the financial statements.
