There is simply no better place to go for your automotive needs than Mainly Brakes. The gentlemen here are friendly, down-to-earth, and knowledgeable and they've helped me out of numerous binds with my vehicle. It is so difficult to find a shop where you can trust the technicians and owner to be transparently honest and fair, but I can say with a certainty that the lads go above and beyond just fair and have flawlessly and efficiently addressed any service need I've encountered for a fraction of the cost of their would-be competitors. I cannot recommend them enough!

Highly recommend this shop for Subaru repairs (and other makes). They stand behind their warranty and do professional work, and communicate clearly to manage expectations and scheduling.

We called on our way to Roanoke from Lynchburg to see a used car we were interested in buying and asked Mainly Brakes if they could do a pre-purchase inspection that day. They were able to accommodate us and we were very satisfied with the thorough inspection they performed for a very reasonable price.

Great brake job done a few years ago. Brakes still smooth and strong after 30000+ miles. Reasonable charge for the repair.

Top notch staff and service. Can’t recommend Mainly Brakes enough. Been going here for 7-8 years for oil changes, brakes, batteries, tires. They can also knock out simple things on german vehicles that other shops or the dealer would charge an arm and leg for.
