Since moving to the Roanoke area I’ve been looking for a music store for a while that offers the same knowledgeable, helpful, hometown feel that I’ve enjoyed at others in the past. Melody Haven has it! I purchased a couple books of music here and will absolutely be back.

I have always been treated like family at Melody Haven. Over the years, my family has purchased several keyboard instruments and have been very pleased with them. However, the most recent has been the Casio electronic piano. In the past I haven't seen an electronic piano that would even come close to an acoustic piano. This one does! I have very pleased with my purchase. I am glad for the recommendation of this piano. I have always dreamed of owning a grand piano but never had the room. This piano provides both for me.

I went over here because the folks over at Fret Mill music told me that I might find some more harmonicas over here.They didn't have many.I was not displeased and the lady who owns the place now has quite a vast knowledge of harmonicas.She even had a device to be able to test them out so I could hear it before buying, since in this age of covid you can't test it out yourself.The overall ambience of the building is historic and roomy with tall ceilings. She tells me it's been around since the 40s and you can just feel the history.

I recently moved to Roanoke and was in the market for a new keyboard--I could not have had a more pleasant experience. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful and I am so happy with my purchase. I'd recommend to anyone!

Let's face it, learning an instrument is hard! So buying one shouldn't be... The laid back atmosphere of this store is welcoming to first timers. The staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating to all skill levels.
