My Nissan Murano bumper collided with a pole in a parking garage, and it did not even dent. (Shout out to Murano's durability.) But the bumper dislodged a little all across the front, left and right side. Literally no dents on Murano, a just few scratches from the slow collision, but she's a decade old and I'm ok with low-visibility scratches and no dents. I took Murano to a large body repair shop in the New River Valley, and a kind professional assessed the damage. I shared that I have full coverage insurance, but wanted to just pay out-of-pocket. OK. THE ASSESSED DAMAGE WAS $2,300!
No. Way. Y'all. Yep, two thousand three hundred and something dollars.
I decided to get a second opinion. I found Moon's by a simple Google search of highly rated body repair shops.
Y'all. MOON'S AUTO BODY REPAIR SHOP was/is awesome! Moon's is a local, small, family-owned business with a commitment to excellence that all businesses should have. I was promptly able to get appointments to assess and repair the damage. AND, y'all -- during the damage assessment, Moon's daughter popped the right side of my bumper back in place with her bare hands (NO TOOLS). So thankful that she did not charge me $2,300 for that. That was FREE-LOL!
Murano was in one day and out around lunchtime the next. When I arrived, a kind Moon's team member was washing my car. OH YES! I parked under a tree in the days prior to Moon's repairing my car and there was tree sap on the windshield and hood. Moon said they they noticed it so they cleaned it off (no request necessary) after they repaired my car.
Total cost for Moon's EXEMPLARY service and quality repair, labor and parts, and Wonder Woman's no-tools-bumper-back-in-place magic = $167.00. Y'all. ONE HUNDRED SIXTY SEVEN DOLLARS. Period. Thank God for business people who are not in business to fleece their customers. Moon's will forever be our family's auto body shop, and it's OK that I need to drive 40 minutes to get there.
I encourage anyone who needs auto body repair to check with Moon's Auto Body Shop FIRST. Competent, kind, professional, fast, affordable, and high quality, durable results.

WONDERFUL PEOPLE
Fantastic communication, unbeatable prices, friendly and accommodating. Abby is a breath of fresh air and she's on top of it, for sure! They did a great job fixing my car and they worked with the insurance company for me, so I didn't have to deal with any of that. The paint match is perfect and you won't believe the prices! Approximately $1500 for this fix.

The owner of Moons Body Shop is such a great guy to do business with because he actually knows how to fix things and he is very honest. He is also teaching his daughter to do the same. So that’s a trifecta in my book! If you need body work on your vehicle take it to Moons Body Shop on East 460. You won’t be sorry.

I cannot thank Moon's Body Shop enough for their amazing work on my car. To start, they worked hard to find a salvageable door to replace on the driver's side after the original door was crunched in a collision. After a thorough search, Moon's managed to find a salvageable door.
The owner and his employees did a remarkable job with the door's new paint color so that it matches the original paint color perfectly. I was informed that the new paint would look slightly different from the original paint because it had faded. However, looking at my car now, I do not see a difference at all. That is how impressive of a paint job that Moon's did and I am so pleased.
There was a part of my car's frame that also got badly damaged and required cutting/welding work. Well, Moon's did brilliant work on extracting the damaged part and welding in a new piece of metal so that the frame would be fully intact. The work they did makes it look like no fender bender ever happened!
I also want to commend Moon's for their great communication. They did not hesitate to keep me updated on how repairs were going. They even asked me to come to the shop to approve the new door and the suggested paint color. That made me even more impressed with this place. Moon's also gave me a reasonable price for the work they did.
I highly recommend Moon's Body Shop. The work they did for me was terrific. The owner and employees will give you their honest opinion on everything and they won't keep anything from you. They're also easy to work with. If anyone needs car repairs, I would choose Moon's Body Shop without hesitation.

They did great work on my Tahoe; the communication was great and the vehicle looks as good as new. I really appreciate the customer service and the focus on the small things. I highly recommend seeing Abbey and Ricky if you want a job well done.

They came recommended to after a Woody's saw my damage. They helped me get my car FIXED in the front-end after running over a Doe in Troutville on 220. I called 911 & they listened to me, showed a picture of the 🦌. They were gracious! I would highly recommend them. The all HELPED my car. Thank you, guys! 🙂

I had a dent over my rear wheel that I let go for a while and it had started to rust. Moons did a fabulous job! I would recommend them to anyone that needs body work!!!
