Very sweet and professional service. Pearl Deluxe pedicure is worth it! Great reflexology sort of massage. Nails also came out looking much better than how I came in. I will be back many times. No card on sunday, bring cash. And cash tip!Services: Manicure

i don't want to sound dramatic but if i could give this place zero stars i would. before i went here i read the yelp reviews and i saw all the bad ones but i thought that there's no way a nail salon can treat their customers that bad, but i stand corrected. if u choose to believe this review or not that's fine but i just wanted to let ppl know abt the terrible experience i had. i wanted to mention that this is the first nail salon i've been to in Roanoke since i've moved here. i had an appointment for 1:30pm and they didn't start looking for the color i wanted until around 1:54pm and they didn't get started until about 2:00pm. which now that i think abt it, they didn't ask for my name when i made the appointment so i honestly feel that if u do decide to go, it doesn't matter if u make an appointment or not bc u might have to wait anyway. i told her i wanted acrylics and she kept insisting i get sns powder so i decided to trust the process bc these ppl r professionals so i should be able to trust that these ppl know what's best. which maybe the sns powder would've worked on someone else but i def wasn't that person lol. once we got started i showed her a picture of what i wanted which was a regular french tip with a ballerina shape and she insisted on a coffin shape so that's what we did but let me tell u, that's not how it ended up happening. i asked her if she was gonna cut my cuticles bc she just went straight in w the drill and did no prep and she said yeah sure but like three mins later she said that it'll be 10$ extra and idk if that's just my fault for not knowing already but all the places i've been to before do all the prep for the nails included in the price (esp. since these nails were gonna be 60$ plus tip) but maybe that's just the places i've lived in (maryland, dc, florida, california, and japan). writing this review is tiring so i'm just going to wrap this up but i wanted to mention that after going to this nail salon and being forced to take the sns powder and the glue on nail tips myself and then crying in my car after i left bc she got mad at me for asking her to drill the powder off after i decided not to continue w the nails bc i'm "too picky" and i "can't make up my mind" and i have "small nails", but in the end i'm not going to pay 60$ for nails i don't like + 10$ for cuticle removal and a tip. i have a job so i don't want to seem like i'm being cheap for not getting the nails but i just wasn't happy with the attitude she was giving me for asking to have my nails a certain way. anyway, take what u will from this review but trust me when i say i've never experienced customer service like this before (esp. in a nail salon) and i work in the customer service industry so ik what it's like.

I first went to the salon over a year ago at the suggestion of a friend. Now Lieu and her other technicians are the ONLY people I will use for my manicures and pedicures. Even when she is busy, Lieu’s work is excellent and I have NEVER had a bad experience there. She always gets it right and I trust my nails to no one else!Services: Pedicures

I know what was wrong. I give 2 stars because there was only one woman doing nails she was working on me and 2 other peoples so she did not pay much attention to detail, so she did not do them right some are uneven and crooked, and I asked for dip powder, and for some reason she put tips on to do dip powder I have never had anyone do dip powder like that, every time I’ve had dip powder done they have never added a tip they formed the nail not done with fake tips. Also she did not clean the nail dust off the table from the client before me. I gave 2 stars because I’m not trying to be rude and understand she was busy but, you need more nail techs not one hopping between 3 different people, it makes your work come out not good. Anyways that is why I only gave 2 stars.

I don't normally post reviews but I wish I had read this before spending my money so I thought I would share. First let me start by saying the staff is kind enough and the prices are typical for a salon. Unfortunately they sacrifice quality with improper technique/formula/tools (specifically dip powder/sns). I have experience with proper dip technique. They use the wrong top coat for the powder nails. Its a cheaper alternative to the proper dip powder top coat and it caused subtle uneven ridges in the finish, which you can get away with if your doing your own nails, but would not normally be considered acceptable on a professional level. (another reviewer, "Boxer mom" shared an image of her nails as a result of this). This is what my nails looked like leaving the salon. When I asked them to fix it they used the same top coat again, leaving me with ridges. This may not bother some people, but I feel a bit scammed when the technique is not done properly and the nails don't look how they should.Other issues:-They do not prep the nails correctly, they harm the eponychium instead of removing the true cuticle so they don't know the proper anatomy and way to care for cuticles. (This was the worst because now my eponychium is damaged and I'll have to wait for it to properly regrow and heal)-They do not fully remove previous polish, and don't properly buff nails.-The staff did not listen to the shape I requested (just a simple square nail), but was kind when I asked it to be changed, however after 3 tries my nails were still not square and I ended up shaping them myself when I got home.I hope they update their products and fix their technique, OPI has great "powder perfection" tutorials that easily explain how to properly do powder nails. Just maybe some more education needed. I wish the salon all the best.Service: Dip powder

Update!!! Correction!!! I said my daughter it doesn't matter her age... also you are really unprofessional and that response was uncalled for.. wow just look at the other reviews and they mostly say the same thing.. also they are so uneven why would I let you touch her again?? You might be having her walk out with no eyebrows next time.. We are going to get them fixed somewhere else where they value their customers and not try to down grade them when they give a honest review.... daughter just got her eye brows done and let just say we will not be returning. They are so uneven and just looks like a child done them. She was in and out within five minutes so maybe that's way.

I recently moved to the area - I needed to find a new nail salon so I could keep up with my nails and I made the mistake of going to this one. This salon got me in for an appointment on the same day and the employees there seemed very sweet and they were extremely nice BUT they basically refused to use gel like I had requested (multiple times). When I said that I wanted gel to the nail tech helping me, the other employees chimed in stating that powder would be better for my nails, it lasts longer and that I needed it. I explained that I had tried it before and didn’t care for it and they continued to pry…with leaving for a weekend vacation the next day, I just wanted my nails done so I agreed to let them have their way and do powder. A manicure and pedicure with NO TIPS was a whopping $106.00 before the tip. If this was a place where they would agree to do what I had wanted with my nails in the first place, money would be no issue. It’s clear that they pressure you into spending the most money possible whether you want the services or not. One of my nails cracked the following day and I had to get it fixed before leaving for vacation - the personality of the nail tech changed and she was quite aggressive when she fixed my nail. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this salon to anyone.Services: Manicures

In my opinion, one of the best nail salons in town for the price. I have never been disappointed and they are very kind to my disabled mother-in-law. One of the technicians is very sassy and sarcastic, but she jives with my personality?. They all do phenomenal work.
