Stopped by while visiting from out of town, this is a nice little place and within walking distance from our AirBnb. The chai tea is perfect, not too spicy not too sweet (my preference) and topped with a great layer of froth.

The best cappuccino I’ve had in a long time. Finally a coffee that isn’t watered down and burnt tasting.

RND stands out as one of Roanoke's premier locations for 1:1 business meetings and general connections. Given the recent closing of our only local tea house, this is the single coffee location I've found that boasts a wide variety of worthwhile teas that soothe the soul. I love their Mint and Chai - the only place I go wherein I needn't add sugar :)Despite its well-earned beast of reputation, I rate it four stars due to the location's size limitations—something beyond its control. It's pretty rare that I visit and find seating, which isn't very fun in wintry times, but the owners have tactfully addressed this concern by opening a larger space in Vinton (the owners deserve their own review: they're going places). While RND caters to a niche crowd influenced by the area's culture & dynamics, it is a source of regional pride. The reasonable prices make it even more commendable. I look forward to their continued growth and the expanding legacy of this remarkable little coffee lounge. Be sure to snag a bag for your kitchen counter. You won't be disappointed.

We stop here every time we are passing through Roanoke, a great little spot to get coffee done right.

Came here on 12/22 and the two ladies were not accommodating or warm at all. They did not try to be flexible with my requests for seasonal keto-friendly drinks or savory food. They even snickered to each other in front of me after my orders were taken, as if they were making fun of me. It was a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience that I rarely have at most coffee shops. I told them to put less than half the amount of sugar-free sweetener in my coffee, however it tasted like the whole amount was added for a 12 oz size. When I informed the barista that I did not enjoy the drink, she said I'd have to pay for another one regardless. Okay, at least make the drink correctly if there is no redo for awful flavored lattes.Dietary restrictions: No interest in accommodating keto diets

Awesome Americano! Bagel sandwich w/roasted veggies was amazing! Apple muffin w/Carmel sauce? Out of this world!

Great Americano! I was passing through town yesterday and this was my first pick for craft coffee after researching online. I was very pleased with the quality of the espresso. It is a blend of Columbia, Brazil, and Guatemala I believe. It was very flavorful! I had two shots with hot water and nothing added for a total of 8oz and it was great. Definitely worth the stop if you like quality coffee.
