I typically do not leave reviews but the customer service is so poor that I had to leave one. When I arrived to check in my car for tire installation, I was met with someone that was irritable. Got checked in and went on. Got a call later and was told the wrong size got ordered. I placed through the app and it changed some of my settings and the wrong size got purchased by mistake. The guy in the phone was huffing and puffing that I was holding them up and I asked if they had any in stock and ended up picking ones that were way more expensive than I wanted. I was appalled in the level of professionalism when an error occurred. He was short and un helpful. Will never be getting tires from this Sams club again.

Brought our Subaru in for just a flat tire.Checked in and the guy said it shouldn't take long.So we did our shopping while there, and never was called when it was ready. It was an hour and a half after the fact they said they kept claiming they were working on it.Sams is getting SCREWED if they are being paid by the hour. Not a really happy camper,to spend half a day sitting and waiting while incompetent people waist my time.

Read my review carefully! This happened on nearly a brand new Michelin LT 265/70 R 17 tire. When technician unmounted the tire of my truck to get it fixed, he sprayed it leaks detector and said ooo yaa we can fix that, but later I heard O sh*t a big guy walked to the machine said o well sell him new tire.If you ever need tires or a tire fixed please don't use Sam's club roanoke Va, otherwise you will learn on your own like I did. They tore off the inside of the tire where it seals on the rim, trying to unmount it off the rim with their crowbar many places badly and to cover their own mistake, a new hole was drilled close to leaking hole to make me buy a new tire which was $368. We are extremely sure of this because me and my son inspected the tire very carefully before we drove on the same tire to Sam's, we inspected it very carefully and prayed it with special leak detection, and for sure ? there wasn't a second hole of any kind anywhere of any kind specialy that large near where we found the very slow leak. The next day, the truck was taken to a professional tire place, but this time driving on a spare and he confirmed what I was saying. This is my second bad experience with Sam's tire center. The first one was with my brand new Honda accord tires with less than 2k miles on tires and were purchased and mounted at Sam's Club roanoke, picked up a nail slow leak took it Sam's they said un repairable and sold me a new tire because of what the said, i left the used one with me went to another tire center patched it like new. they are crazy or lazy. All the professional people worked at roanoke Club Tire Center not their any more, and the ones they have now are not qualified even to check the air on tires.Read my notes and learn your lessonI am 100% sure of what happened, but they can fool the customer into getting by off their unprofessional technicians.

My experience getting a new set of tires was strange, but not bad overall.I ordered a set of Goodyear Maxlife tires online to be delivered to the store. They arrived by the next day. I was instructed to call a number to set up an appointment for the install which I did. The number was not for this location specifically. After the service rep got my information, we got disconnected. The service rep immediately called me back and confirmed my appointment had been made, stating they've been experiencing issues with calls. When I got to the store for my appointment, the guy working the desk said they just got new POS systems and was struggling to ring up my order properly. It should've come out to $743.24 (I checked online) but I was only charged $711.96. No complaints from me since I was already getting $100 off for buying a set of 4! I was quoted an hour and the work was done in about 45 minutes or so.I got in my car and about 2 minutes after getting on the road, my TPMS sensor displayed a "malfunction" reading. I was thinking they had damaged the sensor(s) during the install. When I got home, I decided to check the tire pressure with my tire gauge. 3 of my tires were reading around 40-45 psi (which was too high). 1 tire was reading so high, my pressure gauge couldn't even get a reading at first because it only goes to 50 psi. I'm guessing it had to be close to 65 psi, if not more. Once I brought my tire levels down to the recommended pressure, I got in my car, drove a bit and the light went off.+ Order arrived in store very quickly.+ Total price slightly cheaper than what I was quoted for.- Weird customer service on the phone and in-store.- No lobby/chairs to wait in. Ended up sitting in cafe area to wait. (Surely, this is by design to get you to shop while you wait.)- Careless technicians. Over-inflated the tires, tripping my pressure sensors and left mounting grease on my rim. They probably don't use gauges to check and use tool readouts instead. Come on guys. Take some more pride in your work.

Nothing but a bunch of salesman trying to get you to buy a tire, I needed a tire plugged on a new tire that got a small nail in it. They said they could not plug it and they tried to sell me a new tire. Same day I went to BJ’s and they plugged it with no hassle. Today I needed a tire plugged on my truck, which also has brand new tires. Before I went to Sam’s club, I pinpointed the hole that was leaking air, it was a tiny hole I had to use micro leak detector to find it and there was no other holes. So I went to Sam’s Club. They said they could plug it for me. They then came out and told me “sorry we can no longer plug it for you, There is multiple holes next to the hole you found” and then proceeded to try to sell me a new tire. Will never go there again. Honestly, my fault for trusting them a second time fool me one time shame on you fool me twice can’t get fooled again.

So the date is July 16th, I picked up a nail in my tires, and decided it was time for new tires. Travis hooked me up.This was the fastest I’ve ever gotten my tires done, didn’t have an appointment and Travis got it done in an hour. Thank you so much Travis. Really made my day and can’t thank him enough!

My wife purchased four tires for our car to have delivered to this Sam’s Club for installation before an out of state trip the next day. On the day of the appointment, I saw that the purchase went through fine, and I gave them the car to bring in to install the tires. Shortly after that, they called me back to tell me that they could not install the tires on my car because their lift will not work on my year/make/model of vehicle. I asked the gentleman behind the counter how it was possible that they can sell tires for a specific vehicle, and not know if their lift will work on that particular vehicle or not. He was absolutely no help in explaining this, but I was able to speak with the woman who brought the car out of the bay to me. She said that Sam’s Club tire purchases are made through a third-party, but their lift and equipment at this location are so outdated that they don’t know if they will work on a particular vehicle until they have that vehicle in front of them. She seemed to be just as frustrated as I was over this whole thing, since she knew this tire center is pretty useless with some vehicles, and the customer won’t realize that until they get there in person. This now leaves me scrambling to go to other tire shops in the area in the late afternoon to see if tires can be put on this vehicle before our trip out of state. I would recommend to anyone to save your time, money, and frustration, and do not use this tire center for any reason.

Jeff at the tire center really helped me out today. I can't thank him enough.I bought 4 tires in February and had a slow leak, so I took them in for repair.Turns out I had a leaky valve stem and needed a new Schrader valve, and Jeff told me how to fix it. Even gave me his own tools to take, since he knew I couldn't afford a new tps.Good man.

First of all, they need checkers to check you out, and if they're gonna block me in after I check out, they need more people for that. There's no need to try and hold me hostage after I paid. This store is not very clean. It is not arranged like other Sam's I've been in. The selections are quite limited, except for junk food. They could do a commercial "We got the junk." Unimpressed.

Smells bad most of the time but they generally have what I need and the lines aren't bad. I like Publix fruit better, but Sam's has it all.

If I could give them zero starts I would. BRAND NEW TIRES have a flat. Called to schedule an appointment but was put on indefinite hold. After calling back 3 times was told no appointments were available until 5 days out to patch a tire. Not helpful when you are scheduled to be out of town the next day. Sam's sells you this deal where you can get tires replaced or patched for free, but then you aren't able to take advantage of it when you need it. The new tires were less than 2 weeks old and were not free because Sam's did not have the exact same tires available for replacements. They would not credit my warranty toward a new set. Also, because the tire purchase and warranty were listed in my name, my husband could not take the car in for me or handle the situation on my behalf. 2 times in 2 weeks HOURS upon HOURS wasted at Sam's. Customer service, tires, and warranty all need huge improvements, and the sad part is they don't seem to care about losing customers.

Went with my mother who has epilepsy. Employee was asked to turn off strobe light as it was causing a seizure. He was laughing and turned it to a faster speed. My mom ended up screaming and asking him to stop. We left and the guy decided to chase me down and yell at me for getting him in trouble. I told him behavior has consequences but this behavior in itself was ridiculous. Is this really the kind of customer service you want to provide? Roanoke, Virginia location.

I go to sam's club a lot all around the country. This particular location is very inconsistent with what they stock. Half of the time I can't make a list of what I need because more often than not, they're out; and asking for help to find something is pretty useless. Most of the staff is too busy gossiping instead of wanting to help. There are a few great staff. A few have gone out of their way to help, but most are uninterested in being bothered by any questions I may have and/or to help where to find something. I've been given wrong information so many times that I've lost count and find it better to find things myself. Parking can be tough. People double park and save spaces. It's crazy! People are constantly parked in the disabled spots without a placard or tag. Staff are outside blocking them talking to their friends. (The lot in front of the entrance with the side parking area and the pick up) I've been there twice and the gas station was closed. I've also been there where they closed the store itself because the power went out. One of the staff told me that they were opening and not to leave. I got inside only to find that most of the produce had been sitting unrefrigerated for hours and had gone bad. I've bought meat twice that was spoiled and had to be returned. I've also purchased some produce that was bad. They do refund without any issues but who wants to go back with spoilt meat? They need to find people who are willing to help their customers find things in the store. They also need to start stocking brands and products regularly instead of buying them for a short time to stop and start again in the future. I've had staff tell me they don't carry certain products and then when I point out they have it in stock according to the app, they are often shocked. The customer service department should start helping the people in the line instead of entertaining people cutting to the front with questions and tending to them.

When I called for information the phone rang until it hung up. I called customer service to complain and they transferred me to the same place and it rang until it hung up. Deleting membership today. BJs is newer friendlier and overall much better

6 tries trying to get someone to answer the phone and it just rings til it cuts off. Says a lot about customer service if they won't even answer a call.
