They quickly sort through the large amount and give a fair price for each item. Sometimes they take nothing. Other times they take a lot. I was pleased with this visit. “I would just like to express my gratitude and happiness.
My wedding is coming up in August and I had been through 2 MAJOR dress mishaps. I decided to stop in at the Roanoke Discovery Shop and boy was I so glad that I did.
I was greeted with warm smiles, and they were so helpful. I tried 5-6 dresses until I found one that was absolutely perfect for me. They were very tickled to have a little fashion show, and they were super supportive! I would love to highly recommend them to anyone looking for special items. They do so much for this community and it's all for a great cause. Please go check them out!

“Great selection of items, especially woman’s clothing. Absolutely the nicest staff. They had tomatoes that they were giving away and sharing with all the shoppers. The cashier was amazing. I mentioned that we had dropped our son off at college. She hugged me and prayed for him. I know that might not be for everyone but, it was like she looked at me and knew exactly what I needed. I won’t forget that moment.”

“I’ve donated to Goodwill many times, but this was my first time inside the store. They had so much great stuff. I bought lots of new clothes. My only complaint was that the clothes were not in order. You had to look through everything for your size. They also had interesting non-clothes items.”
“Probably the most expensive I've been in but also they DO have high quality items. 30$ for like new nikes 20$ for evening gown. Not bad for what it is but overall a little higher than most locations.”

“What a neat place to go thrifting. Tina of options inside from furniture to clothes to books and DVDs. It seemed very reasonably priced and if I ever need furniture, I'm looking here first because there were some amazing pieces at low cost.”
