I've been to Tiffany (Laken) at the ulta beauty roanoke salon twice now and she has went above and beyond every time. The first time she spent HOURS correcting my hair previously done by a stylist that I went to on a last minute basis elsewhere...making sure that I left the salon a thousand times more confident than I was when I first got there. Today, I told her that I really wanted to go back to a dark brown again and not only did she do just that, but she also made my eyebrows look the best that they ever have by waxing and tinting them. HIGHLY recommend going to Laken for all of your hair and eyebrow needs...she will have you leaving that chair feeling extremely confident and beautiful. 🫶

I truly hate to leave bad reviews. However today I went for a highlight and color with Leslie (I was already blonde) and I left with one of the worst colors I have ever had. What was supposed to be an ashy blonde has turned into a muddy green color with upon further inspection has orange pieces in it.
I would absolutely not recommend this salon to anyone

I came in really shy as a beginner trying to learn makeup and I needed a shade match. Emma really helped me out so much. She was very gentle with application, kind as in character, and honest with me about what will truly make what I wish, happen. She was very understanding of my knowledge level and explained every question I had in detail, she was very knowledgeable. I mean she even stayed in my budget too I truly appreciate her dedication to building confidence through cosmetic art. She had a beautiful soul inside and out. Everyone on staff was so helpful and kind too. They helped each other out no questions asked and of course helped all customers with grace from what i’ve seen just walking around. The location was well cleaned and organized. Will 10/10 come back to this location and shop more often! Thank you sooooo much!

I had a similar experience to another reviewer where Leslie butchered my hair when trying to add long layers. I have thick hair and a side part. This is an extremely basic haircut.
From the other hairdresser who tried to fix it, this sounds like this is a recurring issue where feedback and coaching has been provided and ignored. I hate my cut and am not looking forward to growing it out!

Ulta customer service is complete trash. Dealing with a month of fraudulent transactions on my account and nothing has been done. Definitely losing a good customer. Will be shopping elsewhere now on.

Heads up, ladies!! Avoid getting your hair butchered and chopped up while Leslie at Roanoke Ulta tries to add layers. It was so bad my girl had it fixed elsewhere and did not want Ulta to try and fix it. 0 stars is needed in this situation.

I love visiting this Ulta. The store is very clean and has great atmosphere. I am disabled and love that there is not clutter from stocking left in aisles like some other types of stores have. The products are always neatly organized and easy to locate. The associates are super friendly and many at this site have helped me select products. The Brow Bar is excellent. I love having my eye brows done here. Check out is super efficient. The cashiers are willing to explain the coupons I have on my app/email and I always leave with a smile on my face. Excellent store. Highly recommend.

I had the worst experience here today. I went in the store with a list of things I wanted to buy, after reading reviews for days on each product, and the employee who came up to us was just rude. She is a terrible sales associate. I had every intention of dropping over a $1000 to rebuild my makeup and I ended up walking out the store buying nothing. I would suggest a video helping your associates deal with The public better. And the older women who come in should be treated the same as the younger customers. Overall it was a terrible experience. I will just order online from now on.

The store is small with displays in the middle of the aisles. It's very hard to navigate during busy times.
If you need something on the weekend, I highly recommend ordering it online for pickup and then grabbing someone from the floor to cash you out.
Aside from that, the staff are super nice and polite and the store is clean.

I would like to compliment the customer service I received while shopping Ulta in Roanoke. Was having a small problem locating purchase but thanks to Kaylen never giving up everything worked out. Kaylen is pleasant, engaging, knowledgeable, kind and patient ...all with a smile - thank you Kaylen for taking care of this customer.
Kaylen is a true standout and should be commended for her SUPERIOR CUSTOMER CARE.
Kaylen is an excellent representative for Ulta!!!
