I went to the desk clerk to ask about a package of mine and the front clerk (Rodney) who told me to step out of the USPS to ask him the question. Once I asked my question he gave me a dirty look and told me to “just wait for it to be delivered” as he proceeded to walk away from me while talking. This was my first time coming to this location and will definitely be my last.

I get stuff happens in the delivery world, but my god. I've been waiting on my package for a week now. It was sent to the regional PO, then to Grandin, back to Greensboro, Back to the regional PO, then to Fincastle, back to Greensboro, back to the regional PO, back to Grandin. How hard is it to send the package to the corrext PO in Hollins?! Geez Louise.

My experience with the Roanoke Post Office has always been excellent. Our Mail Carrier is prompt, and kind to our dogs (BONUS).
This past week, an important mailer went missing, and I reached out the team. They were communicative and polite. They found the misslabeled mailer and followed up to make sure it got to me. Thanks to you all! What you do is very demanding. Great job!!🙏🙏

Your sorting facility is garbage. Why is my mail constantly getting to Roanoke and then being sent to a completely different state for no reason. It’s gotten to the point this happens more times than it doesn’t.

Got a note in the mailbox saying package was attempted but noone home. We have door cams, noone went to our door. Someone is always home. Signed the note and placed it in the mailbox for redelivery. Then watched the tracking show the package bounce between 3 different locations for the next week never once being attempted again. Still don't have my package.

Guy at the front desk was incredibly rude today, yelled at me while I was standing in line that I’d have to have my box taped up to send back. I said “you guys don’t have tape??” And he just pointed to a wall, so then I asked “I have to buy tape?” He again rudely said “YEP” so I just left… what a shame you can’t even send something nowadays unless you give them MORE money, thank god UPS simply tapes my return packages for me, and he didn’t have to be rude about it, will never go here again, Salems store also needs to work on their customer service as well….

One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Went up to the desk after waiting 20 minutes, I only had to ship one item but, made a mistake on the zip code as the person gave me one incorrect number in her zip code. He said is that the zip code, I said yes it’s what was given to me. He rudely said it doesn’t exist. I had also purchased bubble mailers so he quickly rung me up and rushed me out of line. He did not allow me to look up the zip code real quick(which only took me a second once I stepped out of line, it was literally loading as he rushed me out of away) and had me go back to the end of the line. I again had to wait over 30 minutes to ship my item for him to be rude again once I got back up to the desk. I also saw him ring up a thing of tape for a Hispanic couple who did not speak English. They were not asked by the clerk if they wanted to purchase the tape or explain the policy if the box isn’t taped. They were not aware that he had done that and was just told they needed more money to pay to ship their item. I also saw him allow others to fix their mistake on a package and was let back in line after correcting it vs being sent back to the end of the line like I was. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced terrible and rude customer service at this location, I will never come back here due to that.

One of the best post offices we use to conduct our business. The staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable. They typically go out of their way to assist in any way possible.

Lady at the front desk was very rude and straight up mean to the woman who was in front of me in line. Very condescending.

Quick but rushed due to extreme understaffing.
Doesn't accept credit cards for some odd reason so come with Debit, check or cash website should have that in bright letters since nobody uses cash or check, and debit is insecure.

The big guy with the glasses is useless. I had to go on a wild goose chase to track down a certified document that was sent to me. No one at the post has a clue and could help me.
